we really need the points added as the contest grows to also be added to the prize pool as it is inthe actual RUSS MAJOR WAGER contest in which this is in memory of...there is just no reason or advantge to hoping more get in....with this prize structure format...how about it LOU all points to be added to top 3 places 50, 30, 20 % after the first 20 entries??? over 20 entries also go into the prize pool AGREE in memory of RUSS!???

Like I said I have been watching you because I have 20% to give away in this contest and thinking that you like contests you were on my list. Now Warrick can replace you. That would be a good guess, but under this format, you REALLY must go 4 out of 5 or 5 out of 5 in the 3 star plays to have a decent shot.

You could go 1 for 5 in the 1 unit plays if you go 4 for 5 or 5 for 5 in the 3 unit plays.

a second tiebreaker was added last year Ithink. they will use it this year..if tied after
the first tiebreaker (pts form 3 star plays)...

then the 3*s are ranked in order..so it makes a different the order you list your 3* plays..top one being highest RATED...

(Additional tie breaker as suggested last year, if still tied, we will go down the list starting with the 3 starts between all contestents tied and award the prize to the player with the higest ranked winner on the 3*, if still tied to the one with the higest ranked 2* and so on. In the unlikely schenario where things are still tied after 15 picks, all winnings will be split evenly.)


and all points that went in were paid out along with bonus stuff from sportsbooks in the early days or majorwager RUSS generously kicking in some prize stuff as well.

this put majorwager on the map as the contest in the EARLY days I think 10 years. it was the only $1000 buy in contest and well run, no drama, no backstabbing, no sherlock holmes outsiders who dont have a dime offshore piping in...

Mike I think LKID had it right. Just look at if the game is a push scenario going from 2 star to a 1 star.

So if it wasnt a push you would get 2 stars on a 2 star play, is what I am reading:

• Each player picks 15 games from lines posted in an official thread. Lines will not change. Pick denominations will be: Five 3*'s, Five 2*'s, Five 1*'s.
• Tiebreaker #1: most 3* wins, tiebreaker #2: most 2* wins. Prizes split if still tied.
• Pushes will return half of your bet. For example, if USC (-3) wins by 3, and they were a 2* play, you receive 1 star.
