Yup. getting a good line only increases your chance of a win, doesn't mean you will win, short or long term.

thats why i know these guys dont bet or tell a lot of stories.
they say just because they got the best number or they bet a team the line moved on they are winners. complete fairy tale. they give me enough info I could tell them exactly what games they bet and if the line move made a difference.

wantit responded with 500 words to a post he thought sided with him but was actually against him. good effort
wantit says he knows nothing about sports. So he gets picks through math, yet dismisses the importance of getting a good line/price. Full of shit idiot, confirmed, again

It seems a lot of people here have a need to be seen as successful and spend a lot of time and effort in pursuing that recognition. I never understood why.
I often look a other's systems or the information behind the plays they make. I certainly don't give a half a fukk whether they win or lose. Means nothing to my bottom line.

Knowledge of sports is a catch all phrase. Being able to translate events of play to a number and the importance of that number to your systemic strategy is all you need. Knowledge as most see it is unnecessary. I am quite successful with college sports and to some degree NFL and MLB. I couldn't name 10 players in NCAAFB or NCAABB. I don't watch much of any of it and haven't for years. Almost every move made in any live event is quantified in this day and age. Knowledge of the offensive and defensive strategies are key but the rest of it is garbage and a waste of time.
The importance of line is only to determine value and movement after that value is determined and played means nothing until that particular game is final. You win and lose based on the line you played and nothing else. The importance of pricing is everything.
