Try flying from LA to Denver at 2 am. You also lose an hour flying East.
Every time I goto Denver it takes me about a day to adjust.

No matter what, I get a horrible headache the first day and feel sick. Granted, I'm not a world class athlete but it can't be easy to make thy trip in the middle of the night and play again this evening.Comment -

I love these 'they didnt get any sleep' arguments.
Also theyre an east coast team heading back east, even if it isnt very far east.
they were more effected by the time difference last night than they will be tonight.
books jacked up line for guys like you and trend junkies because Maimi hasnt won in dever in forever.
I guess 3.5 is a gift with denver?Comment -

#18I have to agree. I also traveled quite a bit and its tougher than most people think. Van Gundy made a comment during last nights game regarding how tough it is to travel after a 7:30pm PST game and fly into Denver the very next day. I'm not touching this game.Originally posted by BigDofBAI have friends in Denver and my company owns a business in Lakewood so I travel up there a decent amount.

#26Did everyone forget that Denver almost won at Miami a few weeks ago, when the Nuggets were playing 3 games in 4 nights and on consecutive days? Now Denver is at home, rested up, and Miami is playing their 4th game in 5 nights. I realize this is the NBA and things don't always follow a direct line of logic, but Denver looks pretty good in this spot.
Also, 91% of the public has taken the Heat + the points so far, yet the line hasn't budged.Comment -

#29If Miami had any interest in playing solid ball and making this a successful road trip, they wouldve won in LA yesterday.
Nuggets are not that much worse than Clippers, and with this being a b2b for miami with travel, time distance, etc...this will be even a tougher gm for them then yday. Denver wins easy.Comment -

#34they werent in LA long enough to effect them thats what I am saying, even if they were there on Tuesday, they wouldnt have had time to adjust, so last nights game still felt like it started at 1030 PM to them., so when it ended at 1030 PM local time that was the same as 130 AM to them, they hadnt adjusted, they are maybe sarting to adjust now, which makes it easier, its a 1030 PM east coast start, and an 830 local start, so its a lot different to them than last night which I am sure felt like the 1030 start it was. Basically their bodies are still catching up, so moving east is more close to balanced than if they stayed on the west coast for a week then moved east.Originally posted by BigDofBAYou think they would be more affected last night so I'm done arguing with you.

I made a post about the whole bio rhythms thing awhile ago and I still laugh about it.
these guys are professional athletes, probably the best conditioned major sports athletes there are, they do this shit all the time, last year definitely shpwed how over rated rest was as teams were playing crazy schedules.
Seriously if it mattered as much as this AND with Wade being out the line should be 5 or 5.5 instead of 3.5.
but at 3.5 it has taken action both ways so it is a 'good' number for the books by the looks.
the biggest thing denever has going for them is they have had 8 games so far and only had 2 at home, so they will be pretty pumped I am sure, whether that matter or not remains to be seen.Comment -
