The thing is that we live in a egotistical world. The worst thing about it is that our ego's have become so big that acknowledgement doesn't excite people unless they respect the person it's coming from.

POTM when JJ was running it was a key piece in this site, there's a reason why he would incorporate new posters and just by them having their named mention made them post more.

Capper of the month seems more appropriate but its less personal...

What makes the site better? I mean very few cappers are winning long term, and most come here for comfort...

I personally like the way that SBR is going, and I say that it's about damn time. The forum was getting entirely too childish. If I go to a real sports bar, and there were people in here acting the way that Players Talk had evolved into, I would leave that sports bar, and my friends and I would never go back.

Posters don't generate traffic. I never logged into SBR to see what TT or JJ was blabbing. I come to SBR for the very same things I initially came to SBR for - those things are generating traffic.

SBR is a business, first and foremost. Always remember that.

2plus2 is great for various things that SBR doesn't focus on. I think, and yeah I know I work here so my opinion counts as jack, that SBR is great for stuff that isn't a part of SBR's core business. Truly don't get where the animosity is coming from anywhere other than those old sayings about when you get bigger there are more people trying to take you down. Everyone should be able to co-exist peacefully no? John even called EOG a "sister site" and now we have a few guys thinking that = SBR bought EOG

He put a lot of effort into what he was doing. He actually formed his
own dreams. Then in to short of a time you dump him and to me it
was because someone didnt like him? Who cares you gave him the job
now give him the time to try. To me he got the axe to quickly maybe
SBR should use more of a business like fomula before bringing the
hammer down ....maybe warning then a period of trail WITH an outline
of things you want him to improve on.
SBRJOHN get command back have guidelines for your leaders don't let
them run off and over posters on their own. I don't think you actually
want or need your guys saying leave or get out. Lets keep what we have
an adjust. Right now is a period of adjustment. SBR has and always will
be on the cutting edge in forums there is a huge gap between first and
second ....keep it that way!

Well one of the reasons they care is because SBR has been on their FAQ for sometime now in reference to sportsbooks.

They are considering yanking SBR off the FAQ and have asked their members for input,their reasoning
for this consideration is compelling at the very least.
