Dude just look at my past results here in the forum, I have had something like 26 winning seasons out of 34 since I joined SBR across the 6 major North American sports. And how are you "beating me to a drum" when you haven't even addressed the basic question I posed in Post #61? According your logic, UCLA -1 and UCLA -10 would be treated as if they have the exact same edge.

What I am trying to get across to you, is there is another way of knowing and winning aside your way. I have won over 40u in MLB this year and over 20u in NFL to date, all documented. Just sick and tired of you blasting trends and systems players. But all you have is post #61 and still getting beat like a drum!

Read this closely...OK.. I am NOT going after you due to your ability to cap. For the forth time "26 winning seasons out of 34 all documented on SBR" seems VERY impressive. I get that, OK!!! What I am trying to get across to you is that "trend and systems" players can make money as well. You are right about lines vs trends (first thing I check)..etc. But I have dedicated 10 years of my life in this and I am very passionate about it.

Drawbacks with contests include no line shopping and no derivatives/props or occasional NFL teaser. I suggest you do NCAAB threads (either daily or one long full season thread). I will do mine daily (I HATE season long threads with 100 pages ). And then at the end of the season we could see where we stand. But that is all secondary anyway, the important thing is how you are using your trends and how you tested them. But I stand by saying if you do not care what the spread on the game is, you are doomed to fail. After all, how do you even know if a game had value if you don't have a benchmark to compare the line to?
