#38I am still waiting for a bank wire requested on 10 December. However I am glad to hear that at least some people are being paid. If other pointbet members can post the status of their withdrawal requests here that would be very helpful.Comment -

#42Hi bigboydan thanks for the welcome. I've sent an e-mail to Assistance@SportsbookReview.com and BillDozer to keeping track of my query. If it's any comfort to others members Pointbet have always paid me in the past and I have a history with them going back to 24 November 2003. In that time they have paid me some very large amounts (more than $50,000) even though they are generally slower than other books (3-7 days for a Pointbet payment).Comment -

#44Hi
I have been waiting for a Moneybookers withdrawal of 935.19 Euros since December 22nd. I have had one pm from Pointbet which read:
From Cashier
Subject Re: Late payment
Message Dear Sir / Madam
Thank you for your message.
Last month, there were so many withdrawal requests made by members, therefore we are processing it all with 1st in 1st out, we are sorry for the delayed which it might have caused, hopefully your turn will come near these days.
Regards,
Joe C
Since this message, Pointbet has not answered and of my Pm's and I am still awaiting my payment.
This book obviously has problems with its finances and I would advise anyone to stay well clear of it.
I only wish that I had been aware of the information regarding Pointbet, which was posted on this website and various others before I deposited the funds in the first place.
Still......I live and learn.

#45Thanks for the report deltanovember.
Its so difficult to even imagine a bookie slow paying long term customers. Well, unless....
We need to all stay on them.Comment -

#46At the time of writing this post, the Pointbet website appears to be down again.
Is anybody actually getting paid from Pointbet or is everybody still waiting?
If people could continue to post here on the status of their withdrawls both paid and unpaid. This would help others get a clear picture of whats going on.
I have been looking at other forums on the net regarding this issue and some people just stop posting.
It is not clear if these people have been paid or just got fed up or went elsewhere.
My status is still unchanged. I am waiting on a Moneybookers withdrawl since December 22nd and Pointbet have stopped answering my messages.

#47Hi John I understand the subtext of your post however the most disconcerting aspect of the whole affair is not that they're slow paying me (although obviously I do find that worrying)...it's that they don't appear to be paying anybody anymore...the payout reports appear to have dried up completey. At least if someone was being paid I could sleep a little easier.Comment -

#48Pointbet is a favourite of arbitrage players. This is because, often, its odds are out of line.
In addition it offers attractive bonuses.
These things can spell trouble for any book that is not careful.
If pointbet does not tighten-up it will go out of business. But at the moment it seems to accept the recurring problem of getting hit.Comment -

#49althelegend I have to contend both the points you made in your previous post. I am a close follower of lines and I think it's a big stretch to claim that pointbet odds are often "out of line". In my experience, they are often first to react to major announcements and they are almost never too far away from Betfair odds. I also haven't seen any of the bonuses that you are talking about. I don't follow the casino side of things but their sportsbook bonuses are very frugal.Comment -

#50They are only out of line compared to the european soccer books.
If the asian market changes its odds, Pointbet follows this movement earlier than the european books. Therefore it seems Pointbet would be out of line, but most of the time finally the european books recognize that _they_ are out of line and sooner or later their odds go in the direction of Pointbets odds (I only talk about soccer now, which is at the same time the main sports of Pointbet).Comment -

Delta,
This may be the worst it has been for Pointbet players and slow-pays. It's clear that this is more than PB letting its only eWallet merchant account become underfunded. They have been struggling for months now.

#571 month wait now!!
Hi
Today (saturday) I have been waiting 1 month for my payout, I'm not sure if its worth going on live chat as you just get the same answer everytime to be patient, I end up losing it with them but think this will only delay my payout even longer?
Does anyone think they will payout at all?
The only thing I cling onto is years ago I was owed 5k by Internet 1x2 it took me allmost a year to get it out of them but in the end they paid!!Comment -

#60I just went on their live chat and you can access their website through http://www1.pointbet.com
I was able to log in fine, I also like the fact that they gave a commission bonus on a bet I placed, no other bookie I have used has done this.
I think/hope everyone will get their withdrawals soon!Comment -
