Clemson never fails to slip up against one or two teams they should destroy. Every year. This seems like it could be that game. Last year it was Tech and NCST. This year they hardly beat Auburn who is by far the worst team in the SEC besides maybe UK. That being said, I'm still taking Clemson in this game.

Clemson last year didn't just slip up against Tech - they got outcoached. Steele couldn't stop the option. The NC State game didn't matter because they had already won their trip to the conference championship. Watkins could have played but didn't. There was a clear lack of effort. This year they still have a shot at the Sugar Bowl if they win out - so we will see if that is incentive enough to play all out.

Clemson's defense is one of the youngest in the country but is getting better. The comparison is because of the reverse line movement on both games.

Because last Thursday most of the posters who were commenting on the Oregon game were saying Oregon would not cover the spread, and possibly lose the game outright to Arizona State. because the game was being played at Arizona State on a Thursday night, and because of all the line movement on the game. It is the same shit we are hearing by many on here about the Clemson/Wake Forest game. Fcuk the line movements, fcuk the Thursday night games, Fcuk where the game is being played, as it all boils down to who has the best talent, the best coaching, and who is going to step up to the plate at game time. In the case of the Clemson/Wake Forest game, Clemson has much superior talent, and is going to do exactly what Oregon did last week, come out of the gate strong, take a big lead, and never look back.
