Yeah - they will probably slip up eventually, but overall still undervalued by the books. Too many weapons on offense. Boyd played terrible first half last weekend and still covered.

Wake Forest has been playing good football as of late if you have seen them.. although the scoreboard has not dictated that, wouldnt be suprised if we saw a classic ACC meltdown

Clemson starting cornerback out for season but Wake is far from a passing machine. I'd still lay points on the road on a Thurs night.

No matter if it is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or the weekend, Wake Forest has little, or no chance in hell of staying with Clemson, and the chances of them covering the -12, which is the line I just got, is slim and none.

Might be a great idea, and I most certainly am going to entertain it. I just look at the offensive numbers Clemson has put up, and even though there defense is not good at all, it is good enough I believe to hold Wake Forest down to prevent any type of cover. Wake Forest as you can see from viewing there record in my post above, has had a very difficult time scoring points in there past two games against very weak competition.

I think "no chance in hell" is akin to a "lock"... my least favorite word on this forum. Mac4Lyfe is right... Thurs night football is the home of the mid-week meltdown.
Still, I placed my bet on Clemson.

A guess I should have used a different definition, as I also hate the word "lock", as this is called gambling, and I think most of us have seen some pretty wild things take place, so to rephrase, the chances are very slim in my opinion that Wake Forest covers this spread with the offensive machine that Clemson is.

I smell a rat in this game I truly believe that this line should be higher than 13 Clemson scores 40 a game and now line dropped to 12 proceed with caution

I just read all the posts ad I am with Lone gambler, I think this game is a trap. Be careful, this is definetly not a game to load up on. I agree that Clemson is the play maybe in a teaser with another team, that way you can get them for -6.

Seems too easy. I've been pretty good about avoiding these mid week games, but I'll probably end up biting on Clemson here. Can't really see how WF will be able to keep up for 4 quarters.

I am not going to say it will be easier but I am looking forward to us taking that stroll to the pay window!

UW - The more I look at this game the more I think Wake is going to make a game of this. Everytime I crunch the numbers I end up with Wake losing by 8 or 9 points. Wake may be able to move the ball and sustain drives and if they can contain Boyd this could get close. My heart says Clemson blows the doors off of them in a shootout but my calculator says Wake covers.

I hate Thursday football anyway so probably no play or small play, but be careful here... This is probably a good game to Live bet.

I just put another dime on Clemson at -11.5. It would take a very bad game, bad breaks, or a super special game by Wake Forest for Clemson not to cover the -13 spread, which is what I have in my other plays on them.

Mac4Lyte, see my post above, for one thing, Wake Forest is having a difficult time scoring points the past two weeks, and the Clemson defense was much improved last week against Virgina Tech. I just do not see Wake Forest stopping Clemson from scoring, as the only teams they have been able to hold down are bottom feeders, Maryland and Virgina.
