    WTF are you talking about?
Smart QBs don't throw picks in the endzone (let alone the red zone). Sorry, Eli is not elite - and won't ever be as such. If you want to know why the Giants have won Superbowls in spite of him - look at the D when they play to their strengths. Eli is at BEST a top of the middle of the road QB. Yeah, he's a franchise QB - but talking about him in the same sentence as Peyton or Brady is f'n dumb. He's good - but he ain't THAT good. His accuracy stinks, mostly. His deep ball is terrible. He is what he is. Lets be real. But, let me also give him credit for the 2 rings in his ears so he can't hear my criticism. I just think Eli is not as good as we all think or want him to be and we have to grade him correctly.

Also, is Cruz' touchdown dance the most contrived shite we've seen in the NFL since Billy "White Shoes" Johnson??
Cruz is a really nice wide out, but he's nowhere NEAR the elite of receivers, ala Megatron and AJ Green over in Cinci. It's talking gargonzola when it's CLEARLY brie time, baby (good quote, imo). Cruz is a really nice receiver, but Nicks is WAY better for a LOT of reasons.

people that bet on Vick make me laugh...1-5 ATS. Ryan has to win 3 out of last 10 to have 5 straight winning seasons. Vick has never had back to back winning seasons...lol

Stupid or dumb football teams don't win Super Bowls and the Eagles top that list with Detroit a close second.

Giants are clearly the best team, can beat you in a shootout or punch you in the mouth like the San Fran game. Boredom till the playoffs start will be their toughest opponent.

If Eagles drop Vick, Foles works out, and the new DC is okay, they could go all the way.

I also like the Broncos. They had some early hiccups, but as Manning gets the rust off, look out!

Texans and Falcons will be this year's version of the Chargers. Amazing regular season, flameout early in playoffs.

                                          Some Vegas guys say Pats..questionable
Each week, an elite group of bookmakers and professional bettors provide Pregame.com with their private power rankings. These numbers literally influence the worldwide

Clowns at espn and cbs have Falcons #1 while Vegas tied for 6th

Packers have the greatest potential in the NFL and they just demonstrated what happens when it clicks. Some injuries lower them but they need to be higher than 5

Ultimately, look to your preseason power rankings and you're probably approaching the right answer.

Loosely grouped in the top tier: Patriots, Packers, Niners, Texans*.

                                            * The Texans are on the bubble for me, as I thought their lack of discipline on defense in the GB game was atrocious. They get a pass to a certain extent because of Rodgers and the loss of Cushing, but I didn't like what I saw at all.

                                            - The Falcons are pass heavy, but have actually had some issues running the ball. Their first 6 weeks was largely played against weak teams and the early season line value is gone.
                                            - The Bears are another team that enjoyed an easy early schedule, but are also playing one of the easiest schedules all season, so they probably win 12 games, but will only be 3-3 in their division.
                                            - The Ravens had so much potential to start the year, but the losses of Ladarius Webb and Ray Lewis have decimated their defense that was already showing signs of weakness. Their tight wins early in the year leading to the 5-1 record gives them a cushion that will get them to the playoffs with ease, but they're not elite.
                                            - The Giants are legit, but they have a lot of tough games left on their schedule that will likely prove they can't maintain their form all season. I think they'll be looking ahead to Dallas this week and the Redskins will knock them down a bit.
                                            - If Jason Garrett was smarter, I would tentatively put the Cowboys in the second tier, but it's been proven time and again, when your HC doesn't make the smart choices, the team is not going to win anything. They're on the bubble between 2nd tier and 3rd tier.

No one else even deserves a mention, IMO.

If they had a BCS in the NFL, it would be Niners vs Bears right now.

Recent w/l takes precedent in BCS so it would be Falcons vs Ravens

Preseason pr Packers/Pats were 1/2 within a half point at 1 and 2. Packers injuries are likely substantial enough to drop 1-2 points that brings them 5th.

They have Packers ahead of Atlanta.

Giants are clearly the best team, can beat you in a shootout or punch you in the mouth like the San Fran game. Boredom till the playoffs start will be their toughest opponent.
