As you may have noticed, the forum was offline for a period. We identified a security incident to Sportsbook Review Forum and took the site offline as a containment step while we investigated.
We wanted to make sure the system and site were restored and secured before bringing things back online and you will see that we are requiring all forum users to reset their password as a precautionary step.
If you have any questions, our moderators are around and happy to help where they can.
TOW is welcome to give updates here. TOW readers may also feel free to use this thread as their own.
Please guys, lets have class and avoid any TOW bashing in this thread.

Why has TOW been down so long? Was this planned?
I enjoy both forums very much.

I believe TOW has been down since Tuesday afternoon. It was planned. Some kind of server/software change.

It would be appreciated if Roberto or Jeff could stop by and give us an idea when it'll be back up. Taking the forum offline for upgrading while so many of us have vested interests in NJ and B4As wasn't exactly the best timing.

Hopefully, during this down time TOW has been working to solve these problems with B4A and NJ.

pathetic that they will not even update their forum readers during this time
we know RPM and TOW have both viewed other forums like SBR hundreds of times over the past few days
to bury yours heads in the sand when players you sent to the slaughter are getting slow (no) paid is disgusting

It does seem like it would be appropriate from one of them to stop by and give an update or two. I mean right now a lot of people are having problems with TOW books, maybe just a word to let them know they aren't fighting alone would be nice to hear.

I asked around to find out when their forum would be back up but their mods do not know.
I'll keep trying to get an update. Its very strange they would not post a message at towforum. Even more strange they would allow their forum to be down so long while two of their books are in no pay mode.

In light of the B4As development I emailed Roberto asking when the forum would be back up. He said, Tuesday at the latest. He also replied very swiftly.

sorry, i have not stopped in sooner. i thought i was banned here, and therefore unable to even view threads. thanks for the message.
John,
thanks for offering a thread for us to keep people updated in. classy move.
update on towforum...
the techies ran into problems while transfering data to the new forum software. as many of you know, this was supposed to take around 6 hours, however, with the problems encountered, the techies needed outside help from the forum software providers. this requires making an "appointment" so we are sort of dead in the water until monday(they dont work weekends). we anticipate having the forum back up sometime monday.
as far as bet4aces and nojuice are concerned, we have not stopped working just because the forums are down. i believe there will be some good news very soon.

chano,
the situation is still developing, but there is reason to believe that things will be resolved with one of those two books within the next couple days. for now, that's the most im at liberty to say.

Then it must be No Juice, because it can't be bet4aces if there is any truth to this:
"Bet4aces downgraded from 4 to 2 after owners and management confirm that it will require up to two months before they will be able to process all pending payouts."

It's gone a long way beyond that according to the last SBR report. It seems Bet4Aces is now insolvent.

Considering where things are at present, having one of these books step up and pay off player balances would be great news.

I might be reading too much into RPM's statement, but I would interpret it as bad news. My impression was that the NJ situation was resolved and payouts would be going out this week. From what RPM is seeing neither book has resolved their issues.

I dont believe the forums is down to tech problems, i believe there down due to the problems of the rookie project. They dont want alot of bad press on the forum. So they acting like the forum is down. People not dum. I can pay a tech a 100 bucks and have tow back up.
No, i dont think they are down due to anything but technical difficulties. Rememeber, they have commitments to other books and that could be much more damaging to them then the damage that the Rookie Project has caused.

I agree Chano. The only way there not going to face the music is by disappearing all together, and I do not see that happening. Reading the other posts in regards to RPM's comments, I am cautiously optimistic that the No Juice situation will be resolved this week because his comments and the statements on the TOW newswire. I am still in disbelief that No Juice has not made any public statement about this situation either thru a forum post or a email to their players. Either one of those would had gone a long way to lessened the frustration towards NoJuice and about the current situation.

TOW is another forum, different website. A numbe rof people who post here also post there. Currently the TOW forum is down, but 2 of their advertisers are having financial problems, that is why there is so much discussion going on.
