Eli will go down as one of the most underrated QBs ever. Good for another SB ring too

When the DUST settles he will go down as the best of the Mannings. The kid is 8-3 in the playoffs 5-1 ON THE ROAD!!! Peyton is 9-10. Bash all you want but the proof is in the pudding while Peyton is throwing wounded ducks in Denver Eli will be heading a very good giant team into the playoffs! Read em and weep ladies...

Eli Manning now has two Super Bowl titles. That’s impressive. Not many quarterbacks have multiple Super Bowl titles. Let’s see. Bart Starr, Bob Griese, Roger Staubach, Terry Bradshaw, Jim Plunkett, Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, John Elway, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger. And now Manning.
Impressive. But this is more impressive. Eli Manning now has five road victories in the NFL playoffs. Not many NFL quarterbacks have five road playoff wins. As in none, other than Peyton’s little brother.
Manning’s NFC Championship Game win at Green Bay raised his playoff road record to 5-1. That’s not counting the neutral-field Super Bowls. That’s road games. That’s games in unfriendly environs, which are incredibly hard to win.
Johnny Unitas, Kurt Warner, Doug Williams, Bobby Layne and Jeff Hostetler all were NFL champion quarterbacks. They combined for five road playoff wins. The same as Eli Manning all by his lonesome.
Steve Young, Y.A. Tittle and Norm Van Brocklin all are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Combined, they were 0-7 in playoff road games.
Peyton Manning and Joe Montana are on virtually everyone’s list of the top five quarterbacks in NFL history. They each went 2-5 in playoff road games.
Troy Aikman, Bob Griese, Jim Kelly, Warren Moon and Dan Marino are in the Hall of Fame, too. They reached a combined 11 Super Bowls, winning five. Their combined playoff road record: 5-19.
Eli Manning’s career playoff road record: 5-1.

Peyton has more MVPs than Eli.

Eli's reciever, defensive line and head coach made him look good.

good post. But I don't see you mentioning Brady there. He probably doesn't have 5 road playoff victories because the guy gets a bye ever single year....

Check who has the most playoff wins for a qb then get back to me (btw if Brady doesn't already have this record, he will shatter it by the time he retires)

I never thought Eli would reach this level, but the last few years he has proven it
It looks like we agree on something. I rate Eli 4th right now. In order: Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Eli.

LOL at the guys with Matt Ryan above Eli. true Matt Ryan is still young, but ridiculous to say at this point. some guys just can't over that "Aw Shucks" Eli keeps on winning...relies on D-line, lucky Super Bowl tosses, because of his run game, etc, etc....go ahead keep trying to justify, i'll just keep counting rings.

Eli is still somehow underrated by many.

Brady is 0-2 vs. Eli in the Super Bowl with 2 Super Bowl MVPs to go with it. Also set a Super Bowl record with 9 consecutive completions to start a Super Bowl.

On that alone, he is worthy of being mentioned in the top 5.

Anyone who puts Alex Smith over Eli Manning literally is not worth having an intelligent sports debate with. It is a ludicrous statement that speaks for itself and it was pure stupidity, from what one can only assume is a huge NYG and Eli Manning hater.

I understand that alot of people don't like the Giants, and I also understand that Eli looks like a little boy and his face is irritating, but to say that Alex Smith is better than a two time Super Bowl MVP who wins games regardless of who his receivers are is just dumb and being said because the guy is a hater. Get over it, I hate Brady but the guy is a stud it isn't hard to admit. It's time the Eli bashers stop it because it is becoming rediculous, the guy is an animal and while you can debate all day who is the best qb or the top 3-5 there is absolutely no debate about Eli vs. Alex smith, Matt Ryan or Matt Schaub.

There's a TON of list of guys who played under Eli and ended up shitting the bed after levign the team, or guys who didn't perform very well but comes plays with Eli and starts becoming much better..

When was the last time Brady had 2 weapons like that? (Welker and Moss?) He went 18-0, until Moss dissappeared like a little bitch in the superbowl.
