4 years, state senate for 8 years, as well as many, many other accomplishments out of politics.

      >>>>>>>>>>>>>>you think he has all the answers

Apparently the country does, this must be a case where teh tiny minority of people are right and the huge majority are wrong, huh?

      >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ya, your right, socialism is what we need, we will save the nation on the principle of giving money to people who don't earn it.

You must be talking about the 750B bailout welfare program. Yea, that does suck.

      >>>>>>>>>>>>Yes, this will save us all, good thing we have Obama who doesn't even know his own plan.

Surely you must be kidding. Obama has laid out his plan constantly. McSame has yet to say anything fiscal except, "friends, I won't raise your taxes" just like GHWB said.

      >>>>>>>>>>>>>But yes, lets take money away from people who worked all their lives to build and give it away to others.

Read what I wrote about the fallacy of this concept of taking from a wealthy person and giving to a poor, it is legislatively disconnected and unrelated.

      >>>>>>>>>>>>A higher standard of living is achieved not given.

Untrue, it is often stolen, inherited and obtained a variety of other ways.

      >>>>>>>>>>>>>>This thinking has never worked and this just in, it still wont.

Really, why is it that Socialized nations are killing our dollar? It appears that quasi-Socialism / Capitalism are the best fiscal systems in the world.

Most intelligent post on this forum.....Can't find a way for anyone to argue with any of this.

And McCain did what in that time? Not to mention that running for presidency during those 2 years gives him far more experience and knowledge than anyone would get from just sitting in the senate during that time

Monkey and others I have been talking to on here without talking down to one other, I will leave on this note:

Look I don't believe anything this guy is saying as you know from my previous posts. I don't like him and it isn't because he is a dem or the fact he is an african american. In this countries history there has been good and bad presidents on both sides but I don't have much faith in this guy turning things around. I guess we will see in the near future but I hope OBama realizes how much he has promised to these people that are having hard times and if he isn't spot on his economic policy or tough on terrorism his popularity will fall faster than you have ever seen. This "we need change" speech he gives out is correct, we do need some sort of change because we are having hard times, but just any change isn't going to do and that is where I really am skeptical. So you see my point and Monkey I respect your opinion, like me and some of my friends, we are not going to see eye to eye on these issues. Just like me, you want a better america, it is the way we get there is where the water gets alittle hazy.

Anyways, whether you vote rep or dem, it is important to vote and have yourself be heard because this is the time to care.

You don't address any of the points made, which is an acquiescence.

The irony is that McCain's change is not, it's more of the same. It's tax cuts for coprorations and this trickle down shit that hasn't worked since Hoover. McCain is not change, only a fool thinks his perhaps 10 degrees of possible change as change. Obama has 180 degrees of change that will mimic Clinton's for the most part; it worked then, why won't it work now? Even if Obama's change tanks, it is indeed change, can you argue that? Can you argue that McCain's plan actually changes anything substantial? Please show.

Republicans are hurt because they have lost control of what was their country for 20 of 28 years, now they are watching the pendulum swing and it will swing for probably 2 decades. I believe they know it's time, but it's like breaking up with a girlfriend that you dated for 5 years, tough to do but you know it's right.
