McCain hasn't a chance. Obama has the Kerry states, plus Iowa and New Mexico in the bag. To win, he needs any one of:

Colorado or Nevada, +6% ahead (Nevada makes it a tie, and Obama wins in Congress)
Virginia or Ohio, +4% ahead
Florida, North Carolina, Missouri, or Indiana, all of which are neck and neck

He's also got a fair chance of taking Georgia, because of massive African American turnout in early voting, and a shot at North Dakota. Even in Montana and Arizona, McCain is only 3.5% ahead.

Note all these figures are taken from Realclearpolitics, which has been caught more than once fiddling its choice of polls to make McCain look good. Other sites put Obama even further ahead.

I quite like the Cris price on Dems +143.5, which means exceeding 341-197. Obama looks very likely to take IA/NM/CO/NV/VA/OH for 311. He then needs 30 more from Florida (27), NC(15), IN(11), MO (11) and ND (3) - all of which are absolutely level. Georgia is less likely, but possible, for 15 more.

Given the latest weekend polls seem to be moving Obama's way again, personally I think he'll take most of those.

Indiana is as likely as Missouri imo, cos of the media/localboy advantages spilling over from Illinois. Check the primary results from Gary county - that's basically part of Chicago, so easy to see why they go massively Obama.

I wouldn't be surprised if Obama takes Missour, North Car, Indiana and Ohio, but fails in Florida. Republicans have a great operation down there, and McCain gets heavy turnout from the military (lots of vets there as well) - that's what won him Florida in the primaries, and basically the nomination.
