#107Pittsburgh most likely wins, but I'm not gonna lie, I love being in my spot. I got through with Baltimore (who likely has the toughest remaining schedule) and still have Pittsburgh who I can use vs Cleveland who they still play twice, or at home vs Cincy.
Probably crack a few cold ones tonight, and hope KC can hang........I mean who expected SF to not come away with a victory vs the Rams!

#108Still feels like I got knocked out by Pittsburgh winning Monday.
This week it's going to have to be New England for me. I've already used Houston, Atlanta and Dallas, so they are out of the equation.
I put a little thought into Denver, but I don't think is the time. One, San Diego is a team that constantly fools us year in and year out. When they look like they will finally start rolling, they find inexcuseable ways to lose. When you count them out, they could through with a quality win. Don't want to risk that here. Two, Denver still has home dates with Tampa, Cleveland and KC, as well as a road game at KC. That's 4 better opportunities to take the Broncos.
Indy has surprised us all, but I don't think they've improved to the extent where they knock off the Pats at Foxboro. Pats defense seems to get stops when they need to, and they are a serious threat of scoring a TD every time they have the ball. I just don't think Luck can go punch for punch with Brady.....yet!Comment -

#110I am saving Denver for week 16
In week 15, I am using New Orleans at home against the Yuccaneers
In week 14, I am using San Fran
In week 13, Denver is a great choice, but I will probably use Detroit, Atlanta or San Diego
In week 12, Chicago is a given unless you want to use Denver in this sport
Now on to this week, I am personally using Dallas. But you dont have the bye week and get to use Dallas. Alot of people in my league will use Houston most likely. But you can do one of 2 things. You can either take NE now and Denver in week 16, or you can take Denver this week and NE in week 16.
Since you have so many people left, it is probably best to take Denver this week and save NE for week 16. Not too many guys will have NE that week and you will probably be done to about 20 teams left. There will certainly be at least 10 teams who go undefeated.
In my $100 league, we still have 54 players left. And i have taken the time to check out who has great teams left. I really expect at least 7-10 of my league to win the whole season and make it to the playoffsComment -

#111playersonly......were sitting at 133.
Here is the breakdown of how many people can still use each of the mentioned teams:
Houston - 5
Atlanta - 22
New England - 34
Dallas - 76
Denver - 94
About half of the people who haven't taken NE haven't taken Dallas either. Also mix in some Atlanta and Houston, I predict there will be 15-18 on NE this week.
With Denver playing SD this week, at KC then home vs Tampa.....I imagine over half of the remaining 94 will take them in those games.
I haven't used Pittsburgh yet, and will probably get a chance to use them week 16 or 17 at home vs Cincy and Cleveland. I'm thinking Ben will be fine by then, and they will probably sit around 8-6, needing wins to make playoffs!
I will likely use Denver week 12, as I've already used Chicago. Depending what happens this week, I may even consider Cincinnati vs Oakland in week 12.
Gotta get through week 11 first.Comment -

Atlanta - 15
New Orleans - 15
Houston - 4
Cincinnati - 4
Washington - 4
Baltimore - 1Comment -

#114I did forget to say that I was saving Pitt until week 17 or I will use Atlanta is they need to win the game.
Dallas is the obvious option this week for everyone who still has them. They really cant take Dallas at any other time.
But with that many people left, I would take Denver this week.
How do the playoffs work? And how many people get paid in the end?Comment -

Well they can always take New Orleans most likely! There is no way IN HELL that New Orleans loses this week.
Not much of a chance that Cincinnati loses this week eitherComment -

#117The odds of the 5 most likely picks this week (DAL, DEN, NE, ATL, NWO) all winning this week would be about +290 in a parlay.
Not likely of happening. So most likely at one of the above teams will be losing on Sunday.Comment -

#120yet another wild Sunday
There's been a lot of this this season.
Heavy favorites barely eking it out late. A roller coaster for survivor players.
good estimates. That must've taken a lot of time, to go through every entry's picks.
Houston (went to OT, looked several times like a loser)
Denver (easy winner)
New England (easy winner)
Dallas (went to OT, looked several times like a loser)
Atlanta (was behind two scores and were very fortunate to survive)[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#121I'm so pissed that the yokels who did no planning and wound up stuck with Dallas over Cleveland yesterday escaped thanks to Ed "Big Game" Hochuli and his crew's bullshit calls which completely facilitated a Cowboys special "comeback".

#127Definately going to be on Denver this weekend. A little over half of the league has already taken Denver, and will have to settle on Cincy, Indy, Seattle. Was hoping to wait out Denver a little longer, but the time is now. Denver's home games vs Cleveland and KC weeks 16 and 17 may be meaningless at that point, as they may have home field wrapped up by then, and no motivation to win if Atlanta has home field wrapped up by then.Plus a few other good looking options have popped up lately for those weeks, Tampa vs STL week 16 comes to mind, as this will likely be a must win for the Bucs.Goodluck to all this weekend.Comment -

#129yisman......yup, that's what I figured.
Living in Cincy, and watching them team closely week in and week out....I personally don't feel comfortable picking them, as they are known to lay eggs (ex Miami at home, Cleveland on road). Plus the Palmer returning home thing concerns me.
With only 5 weeks after this week, I feel I have enough good spots to use other teams (if of course Denver wins this week)
I'll have opportunities to possibly take Pittsburgh, Seattle, Buffalo, Indy, Tampa, San Diego, Miami. Although I would never feel comfortable taking San Diego.Comment -

18 of the 133 got knocked out, bringing mine down to 115.
7 had Tennessee, 5 had Arizona, 2 had Pittsburgh, 2 had Seattle, 1 had New Orleans, 1 had Philly.
The 2 on Baltimore were freakin lucky!Comment
