WVU opened as 2.5 point home dogs. Media is pumping up Ejim's 48-18 performance against a hapless TCU team. Despite losing by 14 to Kansas, Bob Huggins and his players seemed upbeat after the game. WVU has won two straight home games against Oklahoma and K-State. Both of these offenses are ranked in the Top 20. 70% of the money is on Iowa State so far.

I like taking the home dog when I can during conference play. WVU is 14-10 (6-5 in the Big 12) while Iowa State is 18-4 (6-4 in the B12). It's safe to say that WVU is a bubble team and needs this game in the worst way. Could Iowa State be overlooking WVU after their win over TCU gained so much public attention? Will WVU build off their play against Kansas?

Update: The line has dropped from 2.5 to 2 points.

I like WVU and taking the two points. Early-to-mid February is when bubble teams start to play with a sense of urgency. WVU needs this game as a resume builder. Iowa State may be overlooking them.
