I'm sick of watching the republican party compromising their principles to try and get the vote of a group that has no intention of backing them anyway. The gays and the hispanics will never vote for a republican candidate for the oval office. So, accept it and move on. The real group they should focus on is the entire christian population which includes blacks and whites mostly. Take a stance for stopping illegal immigration and stand against same sex marriage (that means contracts btween same sex) at least real americans can respect that position.

Gays might vote for republicans if they'd stop doing everything in their power to stop gay marriage. Like I said before it's an issue that really shouldn't concern you, and if you were really for small government like so many conservatives claim to be you'd realize that is one of those issues that you should just leave alone.

Illegal immigration could be fixed very easily, neither party wants to fix it though. If you go after employers who hire illegals and stop the hiring of illegals there won't be many coming here.
