      No, I'm not.

You are missing the point, you're making a claim with no substance to back it up. You may believe it, but others need evidence before they will.

All you provided so far is a far-fetched idea that you have convinced yourself is true.

      Reminds me of religion.

If you actually watch a football game, it is boring as hell.

How do you make a billion $ industry out of a boring game?

You make a deal with the Head Coaches.

These are your fixes. (They call the plays) Do you see where I am going?
              I see where you're going. You're Shamswoof's brother, right?

EX: Jack: "Hey Bob, got to get 7 points here". Bob: "I know. Ok, call a pass play, I will call a Defensive run play". OK. Thanks. See later tonight at the party.
It's not that easy either. The o coordinator would have to be in on it with the other teams d coordinator and vice versa not to mention both head coaches and everyone else with a headset on. As a coach, I can tell you even though you call a pass play and the defense calls a play to stop the run, there is also built in pass coverage in the play. You don't just send all 11 defensive guys in the box or on a run blitz. There is always somebody accounting for pass. This is football 101 or at least winning football. Both teams players would have to be on the fix too. This could never happen without being obvious.

What kind of person proclaims the NFL is "fixed" and then continues to bet on NFL games? A fool.

I'm not saying there not fixed, only because I cannot prove it, I personally don't believe it though.

Please post a link to the quote where I specifically called someone an idiot.
I never did, English obviously isn't your strength.
The quote you refer to is self explanatory, I didn't direct it at a specific named person.

Dude, you were to lazy to read the entire thread, which means you missed the part where I admitted I already knew the answer and only started the thread as a mock JJ post.

It was a sarcastic post, but it's not likely that you understand sarcasm either.

If you can't keep up to the rest of us, you should probably just stay out of the thread, that way you won't appear to be such a fool.

Giants came out flat for the same reason that the public was all over them. Books cleaned up. But not because it was fixed. Browns season was on the line, so this was another 'fat 'n' happy against desperate'. I agree that people looking to fix games in the US have no real reason to look beyond (the easy pickings in) basketball.

Read the book "Interference" by Dan Moldea and you would think all were at least in the old days. It's a blow by blow history of gamblers, players, owners, cops and conspiracies from the early days to the 80's. Nowadays the money in the business is too great. The bribes would need to be huge and the action needed 10x greater to make it worthwhile. That much lopsided action would be telltale.
