^^This was the top pick for the day, but I reduced it down a little bit with syracuse having to travel without their big man. You never know how teams may respond, and lets face it they are without adoubt the deepest team in the country. I am looking at a few others tonight, but there is a chance I won't have as much on the Pats as I wanted. Definitely won't if the Domers lose, but if by some chance they win SU I might just get there. We will see what happens, but worst case scenario I just have to put a greater % of my bankroll at risk than I would normally like to do even with such a high rated play. That being said this is by far one of the highest rated plays I have ever had, and hell I have 3 different systems that lock this thing at 80%+ and the one being well over 90%. Maybe Im missing it but, where does it say anything about why you took the ml and not the spread? You said if anyone had questions to just ask.
Maybe you should have wrote, "I played the ml because I'm too much of a chicken shit to play it on the spread because I'm realizing all the shit I said in the beginning of the week is wrong . Although I feel confident the pats will win I'm not sure about the spread. Thus, this might not be the lock of the century...."

Posting plays. I do when they use lock of the century words or other attention grabbing titles. Although I don't normally confront people like this bc it's pointless. I felt a little obligation because I feel the ravens have a solid Chance of winning straight up. If they lose tomorrow , I wont lose sleep over it nor will my bank account suffer. I don't spend all day on this forum posting plays looking for approval of total strangers, nor do I feel the need to brag about how much money I have. I've come to realize the people

according to some people you should tease the patriots with the patriots and throw in another play on the patriots. Parlay everything with the patriots and take out a loan on your house so you can bet on the patriots to beat the patriots. I don't need to be led to water. Like most people on this forum I read posts, respond to some, learn some, teach some. I don't need to brag about my record or money won. If I was not successful at this game I wouldn't still be playing. But at the end of the day I make my own bets. Tailing someone completely is just not smart. Sure if you win it is great, but when you lose there is no worse feeling than knowing you lost with no input of your own. My best advice to anyone on here is to make your own bets. That all being said, ask any good investor in any aspect of life (sports, stocks, real estate, venture capitol) it is all about bank roll management. You never want to put too much of your bank roll on one investment. In my opinion, parlaying every bet with a Pats win is foolish. I think you do a good job, and if you had just played all of those games strait up you would already have a nice profit, but its not worth throwing everything away on the real chance that the Pats can actually lose this game....Anyway, good luck. I hope the Pats come through for you and all pays off. There is no doubt that if you win you will be on here tooting your own horn. If the Pats lose I hope you actually come back to read the posts here, because like any "Stone Cold Lock of the Century, of the Week" post, there will undoubtedly be a few comments here for you to read.

I usually post on covers.com but I read this n your entire premise is ridiculous... If you've been "following the Pats for weeks", then you would've realized LAST WEEK was the "gift"... Denver was so overhyped, it was ridiculous! NE at home Vs a bad QB with a mediocre team was your NE "lock of the century". Thiswk your getting an inflated line from NE Bc they destroyed Denver and Baltimore had trouble beating Houston but anyone who watched, CLEARLY saw it had absolutely nothing to do with Yates, it was Houstons D that kept that game close and their Defense has been top 5 in the NFL the entire season so that's no surprise. NE "had lots of value" LAST WEEK.... This line is inflated at 7.5-9... Betting is about picking your spots and you're picking an AWFUL spot to make NE your "bet of the century"Comment -

Every play in this post has some sort of parlay or teaser with the Pats, maybe you need to reread your own post..... And just so you know almost all "pro" or "sharp" or what ever you want to call it money is on the Ravens with the points. That does not mean they will win, because there is no such thing as a lock, but that's where the pro money is. Most people I talked to were able to get it at +7.5 or better.....I just saw you have only been a member here for a month. Makes me wonder how many other names have your lock of the century threads failed under? And if this one fails will you just make a new posting name?Comment -

Alright guys this is my last wager as I am fast approaching my absolute max of 20% bankroll on this play already. I see a few very solid options in college bball this week so I am going place an open parlay here for this week. I really wanted to limit this game to just a play on the game result, but I will gamble a little taking the Pats 2H ML. This will eat at my profits if they win by less than 3, but they get the ball to start the 2H where they will likely score right off the bat.

I have a number of different contacts in the industry, and of everything I have learned over the years my uncle told me something very simple that was the most useful of all. You see he ran one of the sportsbooks out in the desert for near 15 years. He knew who many of the real players were, and even though he never bet himself he understood the game as well as anyone. I walked in one day a bit bummed out so he wondered what was wrong. I showed him my slips from down the way, and he immediately realized the problem. Two of the toughest beats you will take on totally fluke plays. It wasn't the discussion about hedging that sticks out, but it was the other advnice that followed "You can't take this game too seriously if you want to survive."
To this day those are the truest words I have heard, and something that everyone who takes this as more than just a hobby must live by and truly understand.
