Never said that. The Saints secondary has a much easier task in this game than the Niners secondary as Alex Smith won't spread the ball around as much, or throw downfield as often as Brees. Even if you take the PHI/DAL output as 24/23 in regulation, that means they put up approximately their season averages against the SF defense (23.1 & 24.8 respectively). New Orleans averaged 10 points more than that this season at 34.8ppg. The Saints will try to make it a shootout.

no fight here pal..like i said i always respect your thoughts i understand the saints will try and make it a shootout i just think they will be unsuccesful at that..the niners can run the ball and run it well which means less possessions for the saints on offense...i find it really hard to believe the saints will put up anywhere near that 34.8 PPG avg against a well rested home team in a playoff game against a team who plays a ball control offense and boasts the best defense in the league..should be fun!!
