the problem is there is just such an obsession on this board with going against the grain and going anti public that they'll praise a capper who wins 25% of his plays as long as they are some really ugly dogs



I just don't get where this line of thinking that "the public is usually wrong" comes from. Public hits about 50% ATS long term and gets buried with the juice - hell just look at that beat the prick contest, people hit about 51% ATS.



It boggles my mind how people think that the public betting one side or another indicates something about a game. It means nothing either way. You got people like Lakerboy who will go against a play where everything is supporting that way because the public is also on it
