Problem with Oakland is their defense, their offense WAS the 5th most efficient in the league - HOWEVER -with no QB and getting Palmer I can see why the line moved up . . . . . KC is pretty crappy BUT coming off a bye week and has covered the last 3 games so they are not as bad as people think and have their backs against the wall.

Oakland has been covering and lost the 9th best QB but gained the 10th best efficient QB in 2010 so there should not be a BIG drop off in offense.

Two good picks from Pauly in week 5 and week 6, but I just want to give everyone here a fair warning that under no circumstance should you double up on a second play if your first loses. We have all done it before, but it's a terrible idea.

Even if Pauly is the single greatest handicapper in the history of the entire planet there is still a chance that he can lose multiple games in a row. No matter what his skill level may be, it's always a better idea to more or less flat bet. If he is going to hit 80% all year you can make a fortune flat betting his plays, but you could lose that fortune quickly if you decide to chase 3 or 4 in a row and somehow lose all of them.

Contests are ridicules to look at - any monkey can pick 85% in one year. That is why real handicappers stay away from contests - takes absolutely no skill to win one contests!

But I'm SparJMU's side but won't bash. Even a very very good world class handicapper who wins 60% will lose 2 in a row 16% of the time and 3 in a row 6%

WITH THAT SAID - it's a pretty short season so in the short run a guy could make a bunch of money.

Do you ever cut your losses? Say you lose the quadruple up. This looks to be the martingale progression system. Over time it loses the most money possible.

Hey - even though I'm not a fan of PaulyPokers money management system I give him credit for taking a side and posting it.

With that said - today really WAS f*ck up for most people that know what they are doing. If you look at most places with contests most of the guys near the top lost and the guys near the bottom won. It was just a day when the squares were normally the winners (in most cases).

2 games is certainly no reason to to even be less then "ho hummm who cares".
