I dont really buy the "take a few days off". If you are a good capper, then taking days off "just because" you had a bad day or two is not the way to go. Remain confident and if you see a line where you have an advantage, then take it. Screw the "taking a few days off". I'm also not a huge fan of only playing 2-3 plays per day. If I see 5,6,7 games that give me a +ev, and I can hit them then I will hit them. The thing to watch out for is gambling "just to gamble", I'm not saying to wager every game though. The worst you can do is not bet a late game because you've already bet your 3 games for the day, lol, give me a break. If I like a late game and it falls within my +ev or better criteria then your damn right i'm taking advantage.

I wouldn't risk more than 25% of my roll on any given week (this system applies for NFL). When I say "Week" I mean all of Sunday and the Monday night game and than eventually the Thursday night game. I wouldn't recommend to risk more than one quarter of your bankroll because we all have bad weeks and its likely to happen at least once a season.

agree 100% - i just find myself taking dumb risks after a losing streak - not everybody handles stress the same way, and not everybody handles losing the same way. It works for me. I ofter find myself looking for a wager. When I realize what I'm doing, I try to quit. Sometimes I can't contain myself though

i have one question for you:
When you are betting unit, are you betting to win one unit ?
Or you re just risking one unit ?

          Let's say odds are -110
You bet one unit to win 0.91 unit
or you risk 1.1 to win 1
          ?

          Thank's for your help !
Here is a great discussion on same question I asked and it seemed to be the majority suggested play the bet to win amount vs the other. Read the discussion for complete details.

I like RISKING the same amount on each play...that way I am NEVER overbetting my unit size....I mean if I like to wager 2.5% per play and I want to play on a team at -150 juice, if I was playing TO WIN my unit size, I would be risking 3.75% which is higher than my risk tolerance...just my opinion
