I am in for the extra weekly prize for highest scoring team, how does everyone else feel?
If we needed to, those of us who did want to start a side pool for weekly prizes, we could give prizes to the highest eligible scoring team each week.
We need feedback on this idea too, as we only have a few weeks, and most of these guys haven't posted in here that often.
Ochenta has not paid yet, xxxvince has not either.
bcats you have not joined or paid, but I see you have points, so get them over whenever you can.

I am pretty much open to most timings with the exception of late weeknights and days during the week. I could do a 8pm est start time during the week no problem. Weekends I am pretty open and do stay up late on Fri and Sat nights

I like this idea..it keeps things more fair in my experience..people will continue to put in valid lineups each week with the weekly high score even if they are out of the running for the playoffs...There is a greater chance that noone plays teams with guys on bye weeks or that are injured with the weekly high scoresComment -
should I join now or wait until my PRO staus is confirmed? I just deposited at Rebatewager and sent in my SBR PRO application about an hour ago. Like I said, it will also take me about a week or 2 to generate enough points for the buyin..Let me know my best course of action, but I am very interested . Regarding the weekly high scores, they don't completely eliminate people from quitting or giving up if they are out of the running for the playoffs, but it greatly reduces that issue from my experience.Comment -
D3's league is free I think.
I am seriously considering starting another league but with 20 teams & 100 pt buy-in & 50 pt side pool for weekly prizes. If I do it will be my last team this year. I will let you know if I do.
You would have to be pro in order to transfer more than 2 pts a day, so hopefully they get your app approved by monday.Comment -

20 is alot, but I have learned to appreciate larger leagues. It's much harder for any one team to completely dominate because they had a better spot in the draft order. It also keeps people honest with their draft picks. When you start seeing WR, Te, Def go in a 20 team draft, you better fall in line and get the same things or you will be stuck without. The teams are more balanced, and any small amount of bad luck can make or break a matchup in any given week.

It appears as if we are doing a side pool entry fee 50 points each for the weekly high score prize to be determined by amount of entrants into the side pool
I of course am in the side pool, Bo$$bets has paid the 50 side pot fee.

Okay this was hard to decide on a time, hope everyone can do this.
I changed it to saturday since everyone seems to pretty much be able to do it sat the 3rd.
Now most of the better college football is kicking off that day as well. I have season tickets to auburn football but will not be attending the game, as I would rather watch the games on tv than utah state/auburn.
Can we do 10:00AM central time guys?
If its too early, let me know. I am up everyday at 5-6 no matter what.
I would just rather do it early and get it over with so we can pound beer and watch college ball all day.
