there is no real evidence that cold weather = less offense. This is not baseball


that's a silly myth. They have done studies on this and found no difference between bad weather and less offense unless you are talking about extreme weather (like where it's snowing so bad that you can't even see in front of you clearly)

They have given up a lot of garbage points/yardage when they are well ahead and are only in prevent mode trying to run the clock out. They are playing much better as a unit after 11 games and they have some very good take away numbers. Just my thoughts on their defense.

they gave up 24 points and 350+ yards of offense in just 3 quarters last week against the Lions before the lions imploded in the 4th quarter


they gave up 28 points, 460 yards and should have lost the game against the Colts if Peyton manning didn't choke and throw that stupid interception


and don't pull that "they were playing prevent defense" crap for the Colts game. The colts were going in for a game winning/tying score before that retarded interception by Peyton

Call it what you want but this Defense was good enough to beat Balt., San Diego, Pitt and Indy. They didn't get to 9-2 by accident. Who have the Jets beaten lately? Mostly sub .500 teams and they needed overtime and some lucky bounces to reach 9-2. That's just the way I see it. Good luck with your wager tonight!!!!!
