Beating St Louis at home, Denver in London, Oakland at home, and Arizona away. They aren't clicking, and being shut out at home against Tampa proves it, they just reached the soft part of their schedule and are taking care of business. Good for them, but they have the Chargers, St Louis, and Green Bay left on their schedule and all away games. I love the Niners to death, but even if they were "clicking" they would have lost all of these games. At best they are 6-10 this year.

Still think they can do that without Gore.

Dixon really is the power back that fits this crappy offensive power running scheme. Westbrook as a nice change of pace is both nice and it hopefully will keep him healthy so he can finish the year.

Gore suffered a fractured right hip in Monday night's win over the Cardinals and probably is out for the season, Matt Maiocco from Comcast SportsNet Bay Area reports.

Recommendation: We'll await official confirmation from the Niners before cutting Gore, but run, don't walk to pick up Brian Westbrook and even Anthony Dixon.

keeper picks last year were the players drafted rounds 4, 6, and 8. CJ went before round 4 I think. This year it was 5, 7, and 9, so I got Welker, Gates, and Brown. Brown was a gamble that doesn't look like it'll pay off.

Just when the 49ers were putting together a run for the NFC West they take a blow to their offense. Westbrook did look great yesterday and Troy Smith looked decent aswell. But then again it was the Cardinals defense

Looking at their upcoming schedule they play Seattle, St. Louis and Arizona all again.

Their other two games against a tough Green Bay team in Lambeau. The other one is against the toughest December team in this decade in San Diego.

I'd like to see the 49ers in the playoffs over the crappy Seahawks and Rams but its an uphill climb from here on out.
