How do you know this? Everything I've heard is that's he's playing. He might be limited, but he's playing.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP)—Minnesota Vikings receiver Sidney Rice(notes) remains on the physically-unable-to-perform list and won’t play Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
Rice has been out all season after having hip surgery in August. He practiced all week and the Vikings were hopeful that the Pro Bowl receiver would be ready to go for a key division game at Chicago. For Rice to be eligible for the game, the Vikings had to activate him by Saturday afternoon.

Coach Brad Childress said Friday that it was up to Rice to determine if he was ready to return.
Receiver Percy Harvin(notes) is questionable after having another migraine headache this week and receiver Bernard Berrian(notes) also is questionable because of a groin injury.

Chicago might win this one, but they're going to have to come out and play in a way they haven't really shown so far this year by limping away with narrow victories against mediocre teams. There's decent value in taking the Vikings here.
Bears getting 7 at home? What u smokin? GB was laying 3 in Chicago early when they were healthy. Minnesota was never laying close to 7 here. If they were having a good year in good shape MAYBE it would be -3. Maybe. Tops. But the fact is they're not, because they are not that team.

I wouldn't bet this game. Farve has nobody to throw to and jay cutler is always fade material. Maybe take the under if you must bet this game.

Vikings is the way to go. They are a better team than the Bear. They win this by 7

Regarding Adrian Peterson, let's not forget how much he loves to drop the ball...and then combine that with the Bears' legendary ball hawking. Last season against the Bears, Peterson coughed it up 3 times (twice lost). And then today add some wind chill factor. When Peterson coughs it up...just don't say no one warned ya.

BTW, I know Peterson hasn't fumbled this season yet....he's so overdue.
