How do they have the better Quarterback? And I'd sure take A.P. over a "Two punch tandem RB" old L.T. and unproven Shonn Greene. I'll give you that Santonio Holmes is the best Wide receiver, but I'll take Harvin and Moss over he and Edwards. Both D's are pretty solid. At +190 odds I see no reason not to put a small ML play on the Vikings.

Like the Vikes and the over in this one. Farve will get it done on the big stage tonight. Not to mention I'd love to see the Jets fall on MNF. I hate egos, and theirs is the size of Texas.

Agree with most of your assessment, but the field at the Meadowlands is not grass. It is that field turf substance.

The Jets will likely have two guys on Moss which will open up the field for Peterson. As long as Favre doesnt try to force the ball to Moss the Vikings should take this. These teams match up pretty evenly.

Did you see the 2nd half of the Pats-Jets game this year? Cromartie single handedly shut down Moss. They do not have to double up Randy Moss.

I did, but Moss was disgruntled in NE and not giving anywhere near 100%, so I wouldnt put much stock in that.

You really think a guy like Moss is going to be shut down twice by Cromartie. Especially when Farve will be airing it out with reckless abandon.

Yes I do because Brady is 100X the QB Favre is THIS year.

Other Factors:

1. It takes weeks if not a couple months to build chemistry between a QB and WR.
2. Aside from the off the field bull-shit, Favre is experiencing pain in his elbow.
3. That Jets Defense is getting Revis and Calvin Pace (best pass rusher) back tonight. Don't think for a second they aren't going to come after him. You think the beating he took in NO was bad, wait until you see what they do to him tonight behind a horrid OL

I haven't risked a dime yet on this game, but these are my initial observations.

Again, forget about how Moss did in NE in previous weeks because the guy wasnt even trying. Dont discount the impact he is going to have on tonights game, whether he is getting the ball or not.

I am not on brady's junk the way you are on Favre's. Just stating facts. Go look up the #'s yourself and see for yourself.

Yes, the Vikings OL is horrid. You heard me right. Only one who is worth anything is Steve Hutchinson. Fat Phil Load Holt gets destroyed by speed rushers.

Lol. yes you are right that chemistry does not happen overnight, but we're not talking about a romantic relationship man. what are you thinking? they are both experienced NFL veterans and when great football minds are faced with the same "challenge" on MNF...i expect great things to happen. yes, it may take some time before Favre and Moss to start clicking, but come one...we're talking about one of the greatest receivers to catch a ball from one of the greatest QB's (i know he's not in his prime, but cut the man some slack), it does not take a century to grasp that kind of connection. that's my $0.02
