I hope Rodgers plays just so the line will stay about the same. It wouldnt make a difference if Rodgers or Joe Montana was back there Greenbay is just to banged up right now. Like I said before this line is a reflection of pre season expectations not there current status. Look at this injury report http://www.nfl.com/injuries. Every year theres a team thats comes in with hype and is terrible against the number this year my friends its the packers so you better get it while its hot.

Die hard Packer fan here. Too many injuries for the Pack. It will be a close game and can go either way. I would take Miami anything over +4.

Based on what? I don't see how Green Bay -3.5 is possible.

If Rodgers plays, Green Bay -6.5 or -7
If Rodgers is out, Green Bay anywhere between +1 and -1

No and they won't until Rodgers status is known. Read my last post, he is worth six points so it makes big difference if he plays or not. Thus, books won't hang line early.

Personally I hope that Rodgers plays... I think the injury to watch is Clay Mathews he is the packers D and if he doesnt play its gonna be a long day for them. I say that because Rodgers effects the spread and Mathews doesnt which would mean even better value.

I think +6.5 or 7 is way too high even if Rodgers plays. They have a slew of other key injuries as well, and Miami is a very capable team. I also think your margin there is a bit wide on Rodgers' effect. If Rodgers plays I see a -3.5 or high -3 and if he's out then close to a pk em like you said. I would hammer Miami +7 and ML in any case.

I have to think that Rodgers will play with getting in a full practice today.
Must say this though. I watched that entire game and he was not hurt on just that last play.
The guy was struggling to get up the whole 4th quarter and was way out of sync.
He was a mess and even if he plays it makes you wonder about his effectiveness.
Is he really 100%?

I am cautiously optimistic about Matt Flynn, he's shown to be a 'capable' QB based on preseason work. Nothing stellar, but he does seem to be able to manage the game 'adequately'. I'm a GB homer and there really isn't any reason to call Flynn a stud, he a 7th rounder that has managed to hang around as #2 on the QB depth chart. One thing, Flynn has NEVER shown me anything that would even slightly suggest that he's anything other than a backup, all I'm hoping is that he can come in and take a snap without fumbling.

Like OTL said, this is only going to put more pressure on an already struggling run game that is missing #1 RB Ryan Grant as well as starting LT Mark Tauscher.

I'm even more worried about the defense, namely Clay Matthews, who sat out the critical 2nd half against the Redskins. On the DL, we lost Johnnie Jolly in the offseason and Justin Harell week 1 and now Ryan Pickett is out, depth at that position is getting extremely thin. For LBs, verteran captain Nick Barnett is out for the season, which is a huge hit. Even Zombo, who seemed to be a great rotation guy & special teams, is listed as questionable. I'm not going to even talk about the secondary because it's just sad, Woodson is the only original starter out there and he doesn't look good with his various ailments from turf toe to bad back or whatever various nagging things seem to be wrong with him.

So, are they going to hang a line or what? Thursday is when the official injury reports come out. I thought we'd start to see more places take action on this game. All I see is Pinny.

IMO Miami is a solid play. Off a bye, can run the ball and Green Bay is pretty beat up.

i think this game really depends if clay matthews is in or not. when he went out against washington last week- thats when things took a turn.

I don't think it a crazy line. Yeah green bay is hurt but they are at home and 7 points is only a touch down. The people that make the lines know what they are doing. But if i had to bet i on miami
