Week 3: Cowboys @ Texans -3, thoughts?

I think that this is a matchup featuring 2 teams heading in opposite directions... Cowboys are chokers and Houston's gonna make a run for the playoffs... I say Texans win this one by at least a td.

still a small sample, my source says 71% on texans with 6056 bets made.. we have to wait and see where it goes when theres more bets made towards the end of the week..

Houston...They're win against Indy may have been a fluke and their "superbowl" but coming back down 17 in week two is pretty impressive in my book. Taking them against the Cowboys seems like a game I would look into betting.

I completely agree, because if the cowboys come out flat and go into the bye 0-3 Jerry Jones is going to be on the sidelines firing people left and right DURING the game

Could not have said it better...I'd hate to be #9 or anyone in that Cowboys locker room or sideline during the game. 0-3 doesnt seem unlikely at this point though.

Still have yet to see stats on on any post I will have to put this up later... On paper there is no info that cowboys look better than texans... As well when you are talking emotion the leaders of the texans, after last year, are going to do anything not to lose at home... They play diff at home this year

you mention that the cowboys are going to have to throw the football... houston has allowed 411 passing yards per game...it seems like that secondary is suspect, and the cowboys have some weapons to exploit that...

Game is obviously much bigger for the Cowboys. If both teams repeat their performances from the past two weeks, Houston wins easy. But that's not how it works.

Cowboys win this. Why? Because sometimes it's just about being desperate enough.

Dallas +3 was the first line that stood out to me this week.. They just looked awful the first two weeks while the texans have started well and the public is hopping on the bandwagon. Espn has them ranked #3 in the power rankings and Dallas #17.. shaub had a monster game last week and people are gonna look at and the 2-0 start and jump all over Houston.. Don't get me wrong, texans are a good team but this is a great spot for the cowboys to cover if not win straight up.. They're my biggest play this weeK.. This line is shady Houston was -3 @ Washington who beat Dallas and now they are only -3@ home.. The books want the action on the texans this week in my opinion

100% right, except forget the points, ML is a much better play.

Texans aren't better than the Colts. The Colts played that first game without balance on offense. The old tendency to rely too much on Manning that they usually get away with. They made the correction in week 2 with far better balance between passing and rushing.

A very average Washington team had Houston right where they wanted them, before they gave it away. A late long range TD on 4th down to tie it? A FG in OT that was averted with a TO? Houston is flying high but could be running out of luck pretty soon. Meanwhile, Dallas has been catching some bad breaks. I see two pretty even teams, with the value with Dallas.

dallas needs this game i think theyll get it, agreed about houston treating week one against the colts like the superbowl too peyton manning and those boys arent tripping out about that game theyll have something for them in indy next time around

In my gut I think Cowboys will play desperate and get this one, but my mind tells me that Houston has beaten Indy and comeback against the Redskins when they should have lost on the road. I will go with my mind

Gotta agree with you here LT. Took the boys on the ML myself. Cowboys are not starting off 0-3... just not happening.
