    Patriots -4.5 the best square play winner of week 1.
    This one is a no brainer for me. The Bengals had a good year and are getting too much respect here. The pats are gonna lay the hammer down and beat them by more than enough to cover the spread. Terrell Owens presence means nothing imo in this game. Pats will give him his little catch here and there but Brady is going to pick apart that Cincy defense play by play. Pats will be determined to get off to a good start at home this year after the debacle versus the Ravens last playoffs. Bengals will pick up where they left off last year in the playoffs. It seems like a square play but i really believe its an easy winner. Reminds me a alot of the game last year when the Falcons came into town and i told everyone here to take the Pats -4.5 and most laughed.

    Pats -4.5 .

          Have no action on this one, but I would be careful. Pats secondary is going to be terrible this season. I think this is a good match-up for the Pats offense to put up a good amount of points, but I also can also see Cincy having no problem matching them score for score. I think 4.5 points is a lot to give here.

            Cincy = overrated
            Pats = under respected

            Brady will have a better year this year IMO

            Pats will win at home, it's just a question of by how much? I believe Bella cheat will try and keep the Bengals out of a 1 possession type ball game and will succeed.

                Place the bet on them yesterday. Also took them as one of my 3 KOTH contest plays, which is just SU, no points.

                  I first look I like the Pats at home too. But their D is terrible in preseason... young and inexperience. Their O-line is not the same with inj and hold out... not to mention Moss is unhappy.
                  Cin record is very good as underdog the last few years.

                  I would sit this game out. imo. or play the over.

                        Admittedly, I just learned the term "square play" very recently, but is this game really considered a square play when the market is 51-49? I thought it had to be lop-sided, like Green Bay vs. Philly.

                                I think New England is going to have an offense similar to that of Brady's 50 TD season. I think he ends the season with 40 TDs this year- however NE may have one of the worst defenses in the league. Zero Pass Rush. Palmer has too many weapons and it could be a shootout. Not very confident on this one, but I'd go NE.

                                  Ask a Ravens fan how the Pats stop the run. Cedric Benson is about to find out.

                                        lmfao. The bengals are competitive against the teams they shouldn't but have problems with the bad teams.The bengals d was one of the better ones before injuries decimated. 5 starters on d were missing during the playoffs. The offense went to crap after henry got hurt. (no one to stretch the field.) With Owens, gresham and the kid from texas; Carson has alot of new toys. The only thing that hurts this team is an overwhelming d line. The rg is for chet and lt can be beated by speed rusher. If this was washington or baltimore I would agree with you. Honestly I am playing huge play on money line. I think 4 1/2 points are manna from heaven

                                                I can see the Bungles winning easily here. They should have no problem matching the scores from the Patriots. New England is again over rated, while the Bungles are under rated. This will play out tomorrow. The over 44.5 is my play of the week. The only way it doesn't go over is if Cincy runs it down the Pats face all day, and the Brady bunch get stifled by a very good Bungle defense.

                                                  If I took a side here it would be Cincinnati at these great odds. They got that much better this year while the Pats got weaker. Brady is going to be under a ton of pressure to carry this team all by himself, and as we've seen in years past this guy doesn't perform with the pressure on. Cincinnati could easily run away with this one.

                                                              And don't forget Gresham at tight end and the best defensive secondary in the NFL.
