Jacksonville went from +10 to +9 with ~60% on them... wouldn't it go to +11 or 10.5 if it were RLM?Comment -

#998Yeah LT, you are correct on 65% for NYJ.
Another site I use for the public % is www.thespread.com. They must generate their data from the same place as www.sportsinsights.com because the %s and total number of bets is almost exactly the same.Comment -

#1002How long do you wait to jump on RLM LT? Do you wait until gameday to see where the lines settle? Or do you get on the RLM as soon as it qualifies to get the best number?Originally posted by LT ProfitsLots of potential in Week 2, it looks like Jacksonville would qualify right now.Comment -

#1004In NFL, I start respecting it as soon as I see 10.000 bets, and I bet it unless I like the “wrong” side of the RLM for other reasons. Since I otherwise had no opinion on this game, I am already locked in on Jags +9.5 -108.Originally posted by jolmscheidHow long do you wait to jump on RLM LT? #1006For those of you new to RLM and would like to learn, there is an article and an old site with some notes/comments on filtering the RLM bets that I found educational a couple of years ago.
I was surprised to see the author of the 1st article is LT Profits Sports Group and was posted on SBR Forum all the way back in 2008. Could that be the same LT Profits we have in our forum? The picture with the article may indicate otherwise, but I could be wrong.
Apologies if this info is already somewhere in 1000+ posts this forum contains.Comment -

#1007Thank you all for contributing and thanks LT for taking care while I was busy. Generally I like to see a one point movement. For many people, if they see even a .5 point movement on key lines like -7 or -3, they pull the trigger.
My Official Picks:
Jags +9. 65% on Jets with ~12000 bets placed. Line moved from +10 to +9.
Bears +6.5 Half point movement but from key number. Will try this bet and will put it in record.
Games to keep an eye on:
Cincinatti +3.5. Waiting for more bets to be placed.Comment -

#1009Sharps already jumped on NO -6.5 and JAX +10 on the opening line. I still have no idea what this thread is about since no one here has the first clue how to interpret line movement.Originally posted by Totolover1409Thank you all for contributing and thanks LT for taking care while I was busy. Many sharps take positions early in the week knowing/anticipating where the line will move and then buy back later in the week. Yet you guys think that counts as "RLM" and actually let it influence your bets?
Contrarian betting is outdated and dead just like this thread should be

#1013Maybe waiting until gameday would alleviate this problem of the sharps buying back? #1014I would be careful with Army as that line has moved 4+ points...so the value is probably totally gone...Temple has moved 3 points, but at least they are still on the +7.....Originally posted by CapybaraGuys, I don't follow college football much, but looks like two major RLM plays today with Temple and Army! #1015No I never said that, I said start paying attention when the amount of bets hits 10,000, which is often during the the week, then follow the RLM ASAP unless you like the other side for other reasons. I would NOT wait until game day if at all possible because then all the value can be sucked out of the line.Originally posted by jolmscheidMaybe waiting until gameday would alleviate this problem of the sharps buying back?
