Is it just me or does green bay look like an easy pick in this spot? Appreciate any opinions on this game. Cheers.

Well greenbay for me it's going to win they got rodgers jennings and a great defense but in the other side you have to consider kevin kolb it's coming with new breath also has a great running team behind him a pretty good defense to so it's hard but i'll take chances with he packers.Comment -

Not really. Their best RB is Weaver and he is basically a FB. Their line is a bit beat up. I think they will get creative in the red zone and throw Vick into the mix maybe get an easy TD off of a defensive mixup/mismatch. I'm comfortable with my GB -1 wager..... Line will be 3 by gametime.Comment -

#12I don't know about the side but will be looking at a large over play. Al Harris is on PUP and it looks like Sam Shields (undrafted free-agent) will see alot of time in passing situations and Morgan Burnett (rookie) will be starting at safety, along with that Green Bays only decent pass rusher, Clay Matthews, hasn't played all preseason because of hamstring. This game might hit the total by half time. I wish I had Desean Jackson or Macklin in a Fantasy league for this one.Comment -

#15Eagles D will be a whole lot better than people think. Don't forget Philly was 11-5 last year, and they were practically playing 10 men on D with the total lack of safety play. Asante Samuel has been hitting people hard in preseason, so I think he's sick of hearing how he can't tackle. Ellis Hobbs covered T.O. well for a half in the Preseason, the guy isn't much of a downgrade from Sheldon Brown if he is at all. People have already talked about how good the Philly LBs are.
Also center Jamaal Jackson may start, putting back-up center Nick Cole back at guard where he belongs. Guard Todd Herremans has been recovering from an injury as well. The Philly interior line is going to be much better than the preseason.
Kolb's preseason numbers weren't great, but he looked good and got robbed of a couple TDs on stupid penalties and a rare Brent Celek drop. The "Kolb can get yards but can't punch it in" storyline is good for ESPN talking heads who need something to talk about but not for handicappers.
They're not rebuilding, they already rebuilt.
If it stays in the 1- 2.5 range, I'm leaving it alone, Green Bay is really good as well, but at +3.5 I'd take PHI.Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.Comment -

#17I think a we can legitimately compare this game to last year when the Saints faced the Eagles in week 2 when McNabb was injured. GB's offense is comparable to NO. The Packers should likely win this one by more than one score because Kolb will clearly not be able to match Rodgers' output. I can see a 30-20 game here...Comment -

#20GB's secondary health is a big concern for me as we all saw them self destruct in that playoff game and i havnt seen anything to make me believe they have anything worked out..they better generate a pass rush or they will be in a lot of shootouts this year, especially early until they get some guys back.....Comment -

#21Without harris and bigby, gb is still the choice for me. I don't think kolb will be that great, and gnb has a great d-line. Not to mention gb's offense is a powerhouse.Comment -

Yo mammy...
Someone put this L-word monkey back in his cage.

This is where the money is made. Kolb may struggle against the league's best secondarys, especially as a first year starter, but if he's worth two cents he should be able to utterly destroy maybe one of the league's worst secondarys (especially factoring the GB injuries). Most people won't be able to understand this fact until it's too late. This is one of those rare chances to cash in on an unproven QB while his stock has no value. When Kolb puts up 300 yards and 3 TDs week 1, you won't get any more soft lines like this one. If anything, you can THEN start betting against Kolb because people will start to think that he's better than McNabb or whatever, especially if he puts up 400 yards & 4 TDs or something, which is entirely possible.Comment -

#26Just take the over and don't sweat who wins or loses. Turnovers will ultimately decide the winner here. As solid as GB was in preseason, they haven't seen the mixed bag of blitzes the Eagles always bring. I think both passing games will hit big plays on gambling secondaries.Comment -
