Anyone have a thought on the Texas/Texas Tech game? I was thinking a unit on Texas, but my buddy Paco seems to think Texas Tech is the play. Everyone knows that if Pac feels strongly about a play (and he feels strong here) that its most profitable to be on his side. What're you guys' thoughts on the spread...or the over/under? Is anyone even out there?

Enjoying your thread, from the hills of West Virginia. You have been doing a nice job picking, and I like your enthusiasm. Public and this forum ( I have read every thread on game thus far) seem to be backing Bears...strong out of the gate, Cutler hot, MNF home dog, great run defense, GB somewhat beat up without a front line rb right now. That said, GB is loaded, Rodgers is elite qb, had Chi's number recently....Cutler has history of shrinking when the world is watching. So I do not have a strong feel for the side tonight. Like the under 46 (BetJam total). I do think Bears will try to slow things down, play ball control game, to keep ball out of Rodgers hand. Recent high totals of both teams games mean nothing tonight...different dynamic when these two teams meet. This matchup has gone under last 4 times. Two hot qbs inflating this total in my opinion.

Thank you sir! I have started well this season, and hope to keep it going. All your points are great ones, but my main decision for this pick is the QB play. Cutler's inability to play under the big lights cannot be overstated. I understand that he is supposedly "becoming more coachable," but this pass first offense is NOT something that favors him. He shys away from being the focal point of an offense, no matter how cocky he seems.

G.B.'s running offense is not going to be what it normally is, and with Grant out for the season, Rogers is going to have to come out slinging. If the Bears fall behind quickly (which I expect them to do) Cutler will have to take center stage.....he will become flustered...and he will start turning it over, as history has shown. At least that is what I am hoping for. GL with whatever pick you choose, and thanks for the kind words.

Thanks for the acknowledgement, WvGambler. I am leading with Steelers -1 to -1.5 against Ravens this Sun. Seen opinions on both sides, but I feel strongly about this game. I have a write-up on another thread...if you are interested, I will put it on here.

absolutely......post it up. That game would be a pickem if played in your backyard...being in Pittsburgh probably makes the Steelers the right play. I am closely monitoring Broncos +7 and Redskins +6. I've already put a unit on the Broncos, for fear that the line will end up closer to +6.
