Good game tonight. I teased the under and the vikes to the Max....hoping for some money with little heartburn involved.

Looking HARD at Giants -7 (buy half point) and Titans -6.5, for this Sunday. Any opinions?

Good luck Wv! Any plans to play single games or will you mostly be posting parlays and teasers?

I will definately be doing some single games as well.....may post one or two tomorrow, or later tonight. The first few weeks of football are so unpredicatable that you rarely wanna play big against the spread. Teasers and ML parlays are a little safer at first, as long as you feel comfortable with your ML parlay teams.

I cannot see any way that Carolina plays well on the road against the Giants, and I dont see how they score many points either.....of course with the Giants you never know what you get so that is why I teased it the 6.0 points.

As far as the parlay goes, I expect New England to come out and make a statement. Brady wants to prove hes worth that money he just got and Moss wants to prove he is worth resigning. They are going to be a nightmare all year long. Cincinnati is....well Cincinnati. Look for the Pats to come out torching. I dont care that the Bengals were a playoff team last year.

The Titans/Raider game may be my most comfortable game and may be a single game against the spread that I take. Titans finished the year very strong last year, and while I expect the Raiders to be much improved this year....I expect them to struggle the first few weeks. Especially on the road at Tennessee. I havent pulled the trigger on that game yet...but if you are going to, now would be the time. It's at 6.5 in favor of the Titans and you could avoid buying that extra half point. Line will end up 7 I bet.

Remember its early and anything that can happen. I wouldnt be totally surprised if a few of these gams shock me....so tread lightly. GL on your decisions.

PS......I am in a few survivor pools and Titans and Giants would be the two teams that you should look closest at for a survivor pool in week 1. This could be a brutal week.

I like your parlay, although the New England game is by far the riskiest. Unlike the other two picks, there's not the same disparity in the matchups. I am going to tail this and I will also take $50 on Cincy +4x to try to hit the middle and hedge a little on the parlay.

The New England game is definately the riskiest, I hear ya there. But I really feel as though the Bengals will be one dimensionsal until week 3-4 when the timing gets right between TO and Carson. Chad Johnson will continue to see double coverage and I dont feel as though TO is the deep risk he once was.

My original ML parlay was the Cowboys instead of N.E. Unfortunately, as a Dallas fan I know that we are notorious for a loss to the Skins every year.

I have the Cowboys wrapped up in a couple of 4 and 3 team round robins. If they win tonight I am up about 10x for the day. I dont think I am going to place anymore on the game, since that is more than enough for me. (yea, I know I should hedge with Skins, but I am up enough for the day that I am willing to go for big score.) But I feel as though the Cowboys win by double digits tonight.

WVU will be fine this year, we just need better play calling. It's getting to the point where a true Mountaineer fan can call 80% of the plays without fail. Love Coach Stew....but we gotta open it the fvck up!
