Have to think Sask is at least a TD, maybe up to a 9 point Favorite here... I would legitimately look hard at Sask at anything under 10 points the way they move the ball combined with the way BC is playing...

One more time is the theme with these 2 teams playing each other 3 of the first 6 weeks of the season with Hamilton 2 out of 3, with 2 covers...

Love to think bounce back, but, I will likely look hard on the Cats with ANY points given... Winnipeg was gamey, but Hamilton was much the better team last week... I bet the line will be Winnipeg -2.5

Montreal will likely be a 5-6.5 point road fav here... but you have to look hard at the dog working all sorts of angles from the week before winning on the road in Edmonton... I really, really have to think bounce back from 2 weeks ago for Toronto after getting blown out by Montreal... Early leans may be the best value of the week at at least +210... Probably closer to +230... Can they Really beat Montreal though?

Edmonton (1-5) @ Calgary (5-1)

As a homer, Edmonton has to win a game, one day... And if/when that day comes, there will clearly be value in them... They are a VERY GOOD 1-5 team that will likely be a 6.5-7 point dog in Calgary... ML value??? +250 maybe?

Calgary has shown all sorts of signs of resilience, and if they can make Edmonton play the way they've been playing... They could just continue to pounce on their misfortunes... anything under a TD could be a bargain with Burris and Rambo vs a beaten down Esk D...

ham vs winn - if buck is back take winnipeg..
mont at TO - we have to wait for news on ACs hand injury
Edm vs Cal - haha yeah u r a homer!! just like me with BS Lions... u can keep betting on edm each week and hope they pull of a win but they will lose a lot more games this year them they will win.. Calgary D is solid.. take Cal -7 or lower...

Totally forgot last night about Mon QB Cavillo injury... That will be the obvious difference from a future hall of famer being in or out...

I hope Win QB Buck Pierce comes back myself, but I'm still weary after 3 weeks about execution... It's hard to bet that game when they play each other so much isn't it? Feels like a baseball series, maybe we should play a Chase system haha...

I agree Ball particularly with the Sask pick... I'm not sure what BC is really ABLE to do.. I mean they CAN pitch and catch.. but they haven't so far... They haven't ran it... about all they do is kick field goals well... I really like Sask there...

The Toronto game is completely up in the air with AC starting or not... I think this is a great spot for toronto... possibly.. even if AC plays.....he was hurt enough to come out of the end of that last game in the final 2 possessions... A finger Injury to a QB's throwing hand... needs a week to heal... but then AC is amazing so...

I can't help disagree with the Peg... I have seen NOTHING yet from them to show me they can win without Pierce... other than that Eskimo debacle where really, it was the Esks that beat themselves, not Winnipeg doing much but running them over...

Edmonton is soooo tempting at some many levels... You KNOW they are going to come out strong, no one is throwing in the towel, but 1-6 .. well it would be 1 more than 1-5... but getting further away from a playoff spot amongst other things... Eventually you have to win... ML +320 would be a nice small play maybe?

BB somebody out there is loving the PEG line has moved to -4.5.. i'm not a big fan of teasers but the i'm going to play Sask and Cal on 6 point teaser.. Sask -2.5 and Calgary -3 R100 to W100... both at home, combined record of 9-3 (Cal/Sask) versus 2-10(BC/Edm)... did u hear Stamps, Esks WR, out for 2 weeks... also going to play cal edm under.

before we make a bet on ham and winnpeg we need to confirm this "Bombers get both Buck Pierce and Terence Jeffers-Harris back" if thats true then i can see winnpeg being a 3 point fav... but 4.5 is a bit much.. then we might be better off to play both TO and Ham ML and see if we can get 1 out of 2... and still come out ahead..

I just read this on Pierce from the Winnipeg Press..

He says if he does play against Hamilton on Friday, it will be with a brace to protect his recuperating knee.

"I'm feeling better," Pierce said after practice at Canad Inns Stadium Tuesday afternoon. "Definitely better than I felt in a long time, so we'll see what happens. It's sore still. It's still going to be sore, but that's something we knew was still going to be that way. As long as I'm able to move and step into the throws and do the things necessary for us to be successful, then I'll be all right."

Even if, someone has something on the inside.. and KNOWS pierce will play.. I'm still not convinced he's going to just recoup after 3 weeks and play like he knows how... Particularly in his own running game... I'm even More on Hamilton now...

As far as the Stamps injury... The Reciever, not the team... No question he's crunch.. he's amazing.. etc etc... But this injury at WR isn't like an injury to Whitlock, or Ray... Eskimos fill in WR positions like the Patriots stick in RB's...

In fact, despite How good Stamps is.. i'm still saying his drop vs Montreal is the downfall of the team right now, even though drops happen... Game 2 if they beat Montreal, which they would have been up 19 if he catches the gift... we are 1-1 going into Sask and a completely different team...

I would hope this injury puts MORE money on Calgary so I can bet against them... Something about teams underachieving that an injury, and some pressure allow them to produce when no one is looking...

im all over the BC/SK over...spread scares me as BC always plays SK good at home(huuge SK fan) but gut has me taking SK to cover the 8.5...with Jackson in BC's offense the passing game will be much better, lulay is awful. SK pass D stinks, and alexander and mitchell are out. SK defense gives it up bigtime.

im on WPG @ -4. home team always wins with these guys, and honestly thats 2 straight weeks where WPG SHOULD have won the game. i was at wpg CGY game 2 weeks ago, no question they were even better last week vs HAM....total jumps out as an over as i think home will help this wpg offense...and definitely if buck plays...

love TOR, and all the history says they shouldnt just cover, but win...however i'l jsut take them to cover...and i lean towards the over, as the tor offense will bounce back from last time versus MTL.

CGY wins easy. cover for sure. and edm gets maybe 1 TD...no stamps, no offense. period. thinking 30-10.

This game clearly leans on the output of QB Jackson coming in as the third string for BC... Which could say alot considering even with Lulay tossing the ball they scored 25 points in the last 2 games (20+ in the last 3)... I won't say at 1-5 they are Getting it together, but they are headed in the right direction anyhow... Jackson is playing to stay at QB, and Coach Buano is already in unchartered territory at 1-5, clearly does NOT want to go 1-6... Can this be Upset an upset special?

The Green Riders (I guess the only Riders now and forever??) have scored Under 27 points in 3 of their last 4 games, except for the beating they gave Hamilton in the second half 2 weeks ago... This would mean, very loosely, that BC would have to score no more than 18 if Sask plays "average"... The only time BC score 18 all year is week 2 when Sask beat the piss out of them at home...

Provincial Field Advantage, (which is really is) is/has always been strong for Saskatchewan .. This year so far 3-0... with only one Lopsided win against Hamilton...

Last week Sask QB Durant wasn't 100% with food poisoning, and yet still came out with a 35-62 effort vs the best team in the league for 445 yards..

As much as the game appear to look like a BC cover... I think a big of bounce back is in play for the Riders as they want to make it known that they SHOULD have won last week, and maybe should have with the second half Domination of the Als... I believe this is a trap game that has all the leaning of a BC cover with all sorts of factors of "getting it started" in play... I just think playing in Saskatchewan, with a QB who last year did not get ANY significant time vs a Sask defense is just in way over his head to make a 1-5 team a 2-5 team...

I'm looking at something like Sask 38 BC 24, and strongly looking @ the OVER as well...

Glad to see all the post.. TKAT i read your cfl posts welcome... i'm not a big fan of over and unders so no play for me on the over sask/BC.. BC D has been solid all year.

i do like TO at home, this year home teams are 14-9 ATS and DOGS are 13-9 ATS, so getting a DOG at HOME is a bonus... you guys have talked me in to Winnipeg -4 HAHA i need someone to blame if it goes wrong...

There is another thing I'm looking at... Which is the -105 on Sask WR Dressler Over 4.5 Receptions...

Last 3 games he has
13 Catches (Mon) L

Seems he will either light it up, or be non existent... But Durant seems to be throwing it alot more in his direction last few games except for the Hamilton route...

Actually .. The one line I REALLY REALLY like is BC QB Jackson Under 258.5 yards... Hes' thrown in his Career Once past that mark, and today I can't see him doing that in Regina... Along with the fact that just because he's starting.. Doesn't mean a few bad series or a bad half doesn't mean he won't get the hook...


I think I'll go with it despite the juice hammering it at -125... I think that's a strong number to play, but unhappy about the price should have seen it earlier...
