If I had to pick a sleeper team to surprise everybody my pick would be the Chiefs. I think they could realistically win the division. I could see them finishing ahead of Oakland and Denver. The only question mark is the Chargers. Going from last year to this year it would be easy to say the Charges will win the AFC West but I wouldn't be surprised if they take a slide this year. Matter of fact the Chiefs are gone beat the Chargers in week one.

Lets not get carried away. You are saying a 4-12 team who finished 30th in total defense, were 1-7 at home, 25th in total yards a game and have new off. and def. coordinators are going to win 11 games? I like the Cheifs as a sleeper but 8-8 will be the best they do and the Chargers with their easy schedule will win 10 games. Sorry but I don't see 11 in their future but i like the bold prediction.

ill post back after the season but the two headed running back is a staple of every good team these days and kc might have the best in the league in jamaal charles and thomas jones. weis will work what cassel knows and bowe wont be an attitude problem this year. im telling you, it's coming

Would love to see this bold prediction come through and I think it has a chance. They got their running game back lets hope Chambers can have a bounce back season and Bowe does his own little thing. Theirs a couple of holes in the defense but Vrabel knows how to win.

I wondering if this guy joking, smoking dope while posting, trying to get SBR posters to unanimously concede the west to his beloved Chargers, or just trying to get headlines.

Since I'm pretty familiar with the AFC west, I have never my entire life of watching the AFC west see a team as dreadful as the Chief make such a transformation. From 4 wins to 11 wins. Never ever happened. No way they finish ahead of the Chargers. They'll fight with the Raiders and Broncos for 2nd place, with 5-6 wins maybe!

no, im serious, jamaal charles will be in commercials after this season and cassel is a big time qb when he has weapons. he came in as the replacement to tom brady and had 2 400 yard games in his first year in a similar offense and with weapons for the first time since that team. dexter mccluster is another huge fantasy sleeper. im just saying it now, every year a team does this, a la cardinals in 08 and bengals last year

Hmm they could realisticly get to the bye week and be 3-0 and through week 9 they could have 6 wins already with their only losses coming to Indy and Houston on the road. If they can get to the half way point and be 6-2 it's not a reach for them win 10 or 11 games. I put the W's and L's beside the games they could win and lose.
