Warner has To Be Top 10 QB Of All Times

He is in my top 10 for sure. A great QB and can play with or without Boldin. He makes the most accurate throws

Warner fan here. Hall of Famer- yes. Can't get on fire and as accurate as anyone - yes. Top Ten? Prob not. If you are a top ten QB - I don't wan't to have found myself at anytime in someone's career asking - Does this guy svck? Is he maybe the worst QB in the league rgiht now? Especially not in the middle of the year...Kind of a real arrogant guy too.

I was looking at Warner's single year with the Giants in 2004. Warner started the season 5-2, then lost two games going to 5-4 before Eli replaced him. The Giants finished the season 6-10 with Eli, losing every game until finally winning week 17. Granted, Eli was a rookie. But it kinda makes one wonder how the Giants would have done if they could have stuck with Warner a little longer. Warner's stats were fine, he was just given a short hook to get the #1 overall pick onto the field.

So, you guys that are making the case that Bulger/Leinart couldn't hold Warner's jock, add Eli to that list too.

Good point about Eli, I was trying to be nice. People tell me I don't like anybody. To take your point a step further, the Giants built 2 touchdown leads in each of those last 2 losses but couldn't hold on. Warner was benched after the loss at Arizona by 3 points. Earlier in that game Steve Christie kicked a 42 yard field goal very short. He never could kick well on grass surface, plus Christie was washed up, but that all was Warner's fault too.

What separates Warner from most is his unreal playoff games and unreal accuracy

There's a lot more to being a good quarterback than that JJ, you should know that. Even playing most of 2007 season with a mangled elbow doesn't necessarily show toughness, either.

John Elway is easily a top 10 QB and there were times when people were saying the same thing. He wasn't just losing the SB, he was getting BLOWN OUT. Nobody really thinks about that now though.

I think he's proven himself to be a hall of famer.
Top ten all-time is going too far though. Brady and Manning are the only 2 current QB's who can get into that group
