Unreal how many people thing Green Bay is so special. The books are laughing their heads off right now. They keep bringing the line down and all the suckers are pounding Green Bay. Arizona when on their game can beat any team anywhere- dont be fooled, they didnt show anything last week, and if there is any team that can turn it up a notch on a whim it is ARizona. Watch the game plan they will have and you will be stunned, the packers will be outcoached like they have in all the big games(excluding dallas) and go down in flames. I will take Zona at home laying only a point against a guy who has never played a playoff game with warner as my qb any day of my life.

#75i love how people say "Arizona didn't show anything". Every team knows exactly what the other team is going to run all the time 95% of the time...it just comes down to the players doing their job. WHich is the hardest part. You guys act liek Arizona has some "secret" game plans or schemes that they're going to use against the Packers. Well find out Sunday. Outside of Dockett, the d-line sucks! And Dockett is only good over the ball, he's not as effective when they try to put him on the end (too slow). AZ linebackers are ok, but don't believe in Cromartie..... he still makes foolish mistakes (poor angles) trying to go for the int (like his cousin Antonio).Comment -

#80Usually a good fact when it comes down to how good a team is..their 3rd conversion rate...Packers rank 3rd in the league at 47...Cardinals rank 21 in the league at 36... Cardinals -7 in the turnover margin while Packers are a +24...this ain't last years superbowl team!
Everything...i mean..everything points to a Packers win. Stats and everything. But then agian, thats why they plaay the game!
If anything, their offense is slightly off and their defense has improved by the same amount. I still like Kurt Warner & company to get right on offense when it counts. So, I wouldn't be the least concerned with the slight dip in offensive production in 2009 regular season. Don't forget, some of those 2009 poor offensive stats are from Leinart who is very unlikely to be playing.Comment -

#83All this back and forth talk. Lets talk about momentum and teams that have made strides correcting early season issues. The one weakspot for GB will be Williams and Bush in the secondary. About the 10th game Capers let this team loose. They no longer had to think about where they needed to be on the field, just react and it showed. Expect a miriad of blitzes out of the Pack this week. McCarthy took the right approach for his players last week preparing and playing like a normal game. Thus, keeping the players focused and ready. There is a whole other playbook in GB arsenal that Ariz. did not see.
I do not see Arizona developing a running attack against GB's D. Warner will need to throw and throw a lot to win this game. Definitely possible, however, Mathews and Brad Jones will be getting to Warner IMO. Jones is a gem who is getting his first start. Keep an eye on this kid. Special. I think Ryan Pickett will be ready thus keeping the D line fresh with rotation of Raji. Jolly is an underrated end who has played very well this year. Then you have Woodson. Nuff said.
Offensively, Rodgers not making mistakes. Composed for a 2nd year QB. GB will run enough to keep them honest and with the receiving corp of Jennings, Driver, Finley, and Jones I see at least 35 points out of them this week.
I know this team inside and out and see a focused bunch ready to play.
One concern is McCarthy. I think he is a players coach but play calling and his challenges at crucial times are suspect. GB always travels well and hope to see about 40% GB fans there.
Good luck on you're plays this week and play GB on the ML and make some cash.
Would love others thoughts on this game.Comment -

#87There is no way the Arizona Cardinals beat the Atlanta Falcons this weekend. There's a reason why the Cards started out as 2 point favorites and are now 2 point underdogs. Even though Kurt Warner did great and had better numbers than Peyton Manning, they still got destroyed in 3 of their last 5 games, including by Tavaris Jackson. While Kurt Warner has done great in the playoffs, that was all with the Rams.
Rookie Matt Ryan will win his 1st playoff game this Sunday since he's the best quarterback in football, and Atlanta has a better record and beat better teams. Atlanta was 1 play away from being a #2 seed. Arizona cannot bounce back from bad losses, and who are they to be resting players, a team with no playoff history. Didn't they learn anything from the NY Giants last year? My Pompous Pompano Pete Prediction, bet the house on Atlanta, you won't regret it. The public and television experts have this one right for once. Cards should not even be allowed in the playoffs, laugh all the way to the bank.Comment -

Would love others thoughts on this game.. Then they will resort to their passing game....and outside of 1 or 2 deep completed passes.. (remember Woodson is out there) they'll find it tough to get first downs (let alone TDs). GB will send in everything and the kitchen sink on 3rd and long, disrupting Kurt's flow. He gets rattled, no matter what the experts may say. If you've watched Kurt since his STL days, you'd know that. He's really not a deep passer, but wil thrive in a short passing attack offense. The Warner/Fitz connection is NOT like it was last year. I expect 2-3 turnovers from AZ as well.
Total domination is expected when GB has the ball (right?). Although they've ran the ball respectively well this year, this game should introduce the supreme passing of Aaron Brooks. Brooks/Driver/Jennings and cast are going to eat AZ up (CHOMP!CHOMP!CHOMP!). I'm not a fan favorite of Cromartie (overrated) and the secondary is suspect. If AZ can't stop big chunks of rushing yards (6,7,8), then this game will be a blow out.
Lastly, for AZ to win.....hmmm....well I guess there's always a chance...Kurt wil have to match points ...3 or 4 tds. AND NO TURNOVERS! I just don't see this happening. I'd take my chances and play the under (too), but GB should be a safe bet (especially if you can get points).

#93Not disagreeing with you by any means, but when you see 2 teams like this thats ur first thought as it was mine, just makes me think twice. Why wouldn't total be like at least 50??? Statistically showing anytime a totals play has 50 or over, it has only went over like twice this season. It just sounds like a trap to me, or I could be completely wrong and just wasted my time giving an opinionComment -
