a better question would be why buy to 4.5 from 3.5, when you take a potentially +EV bet and make it a guaranteed -EV bet.

True but Texans lost by 3 in INDY, so geting 3 at home looked right.

I agree, it did look right, but Houston has since lost at home to Tennessee. I think the theme is to pick Indy or leave it alone on lines inside of a few points. Going against Peyton is asking for trouble.

That was my first impression, yet they did play Colts tough in Indy. Not to mention Manning had some type of Injury.
