Quick question for you folks... I agree with many that are are many great lines out there, esp with falcons/bears... etc. But I just can't justify locking up my $$ for over half a year for a -160 line or even a +140 line. Am I missing something here? I'd much rather play the individual games and get my money at the end of the day. than have to wait for a whole season? of course JMHO

I wouldn't put "new money" down on any of these lines. But, if you've got an account which you're not really planning on cashing out for another six months anyway, then the money will just be sitting there either way.

Yes, the line has to be very enticing to lure me in. I already put down on a couple Super Bowl longshots, but in that case very little money is being tied up and it's more for entertainment purposes anyway. As the season gets closer & closer I might get more and more interested. Most of the talk to this point is just boredom or getting down some preliminary ideas. Injuries happen in the preseason and teams start to take shape.
