#17bengals over 6 is great but -160 is no fun. 7 wins shouldn't be a problem tho, week 1(denver), 2(GB) 4(CLE) 5(Balt) 6(hou) 7(chi) 9(balt) 11(oak) 12(cle) 13(DET) 16(KC) 17(jets)
Week 1,4,6,11,12,13 and 16 should get it done
NE 11.5 is high but talk about a soft schedule, nothing new there tho, i can see them getting 13 wins or more depending if ind/NO can hold down home field.Comment -

#20Atlanta got rid of all the old players in defense like Malloy and Brooking. There are a lot of young players in defense which I'm excited and the offense is improved with the addition of Gonzalez and more mature Ryan. Who's going to stop this powerful offense of Ryan, White, Gonzalez, Jenkins, Turner and Norwood? This is a 30 point offense at every game. Too many weapons. They will have 5-6 wins in the weak south division.Comment -

#22I like the way you guys think. Atlanta Over 8 -135 seems solid. They made all of the right moves this offseason. My only concern is that they won't be sneaking up on anyone.
I'm also with Brooks on the Bengals Over 6 -160. I groaned when I saw the juice, but right it right. The Bengals are good enough to count on them to be around 8-8.
As for defending my Lions over 5 pick, it's an 8-8 league. The Lions were better than their 0-16 record, hanging close in the majority of their games. They have an influx of young talent, thanks to drafting high, a new regime with a new attitude. There's enough talent on this team to win, with Culpepper, Megatron & weapons on offense. The defense needs an attitude adjustment, but there's talent there too if Schwartz can get it ironed out. I'm not saying the Lions are playoff bound like the Dolphins managed after going 1-15, but 6 wins isn't splitting the atom either. The 0-16 will fool a lot of people into thinking the Lions are much worse than they really are.Comment -

#26In markets as these public perception may be in the right direction, but it is almost always exaggerated. Plus this is a league of parity. So, in general, I would bet the under for any team that improved their record by 4 games or more last season, and the over for any team that went the wrong way by 4 games or more.Comment -

#33Pavy the weak south? Carolina made the conference semi's, we know about Atlanta, NO best offense of all time perhaps with a decent defense too, and TB is always a contender.
I'm the biggest Falcons fan in the world but we will struggle to get to 8 wins. Hardest schedule in the NFL. Our defense is going to be completely lit up every game.Comment -

Check out the Bears at #32!!! Load up on that sucker. 8.5 wins seems like cake for this team, even if they had a mediocre to tough schedule and no Jay Cutler! The Bears are the class of the NFC North at this moment, bar none. I'd also suggest to load up on Vikings if you think Favre is going to Minny, which I sincerely do. Even the Packers are looking possible, suddenly, in my mind with such a weak schedule. Just make sure you believe that their transition will be smooth going to the 3-4 because I think we're in for a rocky ride there. Not to mention I don't really trust our offensive line. Before the draft, I had Bears at 11 wins, Vikings at 10, Packers at 9. Nothing has really changed for me since then.
Looking at #1 through #8, we see the NFC South & AFC East. It makes sense to downgrade all of these teams. Jets under 7 +115 & Bills Under 7.5 +130 just looks delicious! The under on Miami & NE also seems sensible, but both of these teams are solid enough to prove me wrong and I need to lay off. I still love Bucs under 6.5 +100, but I guess I'll lay off the Saints, Falcons, Panthers which all hover around 8.5.Comment -
