one thing I hated about the eagles was the playcall. it was never the talent, it was the system built around them.. ive only decided to back the eagles a few times earlier in the season (1-3) and lets say I wasn't happy. the system he had going clearly didn't work hints why he was fire before the regular season ended.. just for the simple fact they got his ass out of office, I'm leaning to back the eagles cause I can only imagine how fired up they truly are..Comment -

laying the touchdown seems smart here. The major turn around KC has had to their season is remarkable.. I'm having a hard time finding reasons NOT to back them. Oakland is a decent team that will be better in the future... but.. as of now.. Alex smith is on a roll and Ima roll with'em. wish i would've bought down to 6 for some wiggle room but i think laying the 7 is a good spot here.Comment -

Miami/patriots under 47
both teams are shot. a lot of the pats big spread games have gone under. this last match up earlier in the season pats got a huge lead and Miami seemed like they didn't even wanna finish the game. I expect the same results. 30-7 pats somewhere in that ball park.

this game should be at PK.. I wanted to wait to see what the line does but I took it early. I'm sure the money will come pouring in on the Vikings.. what they did in primetime last week against the odell'less Giants was pretty impressive no matter how its put.. gotta give'em props.. and no one saw Arizona beatin the shit out of GB like that.. GB layed down and just had to take it.. when carson gets hot they just start slingin points on the board and it just gets outta hand.. good thing the Vikings isn't that type of team.. this is a good spot for GB to redeem in lambeau.. Vikings primarily like to run and GB defends that well. heres the thing. do I expect teddy repeat production in back to back primetime games? no. although teddy has had a good season, he is still fairly new in my eyes.. lambeau is a tough place to walk in and come out with a Win.. I'm sure dom will disguise a few new plays teddy isn't familiar with.. teddy had so much success last week my football mind tells me he wont play as well.. and same concept with aaron Rodgers.. he did so poorly against the cardinals you wanna think he wants to redeem himself infront of his home crowd..

7 is a number I always feel confident laying in the NFL.. and ontop of that, the Texans dominate this matchup each year. the Texans defense and as a whole has stepped up and exceeded expectations.. their 6-2 run has been fun to watch. the good thing about this pick is that I know Houston is gonna play the last regular season game with full intensity.. I know bill Obrien is in that locker room preaching to them to finish strong. this game still has much meaning to the Texans. regardless of the status of hoyer (of course id prefer hoyer) but I like weeden to quarterback the Texans, I think hes a great fit for a backup or even starting position for houston.. (yes I said it, weeden).. for the trouble Houston has gone through to find a steady QB, ill glady take weeden.. weeden is perfect for the job.
Falcons/ Saints over 53
total is a little high but I think the saints are capable of covering 85% of the total by themselves.. I see this being a high scoring game no doubt. 2 bad defenses and 2 offenses that can put up points in bunches.. I see a 38-21 or 45-32 type of game..

I think hoyer can sling with the best of'em.. both teams resemble each other in a way.. they both had amazing turn arounds for their season.. prolly the most even match up on the card. Texans production on both sides of the ball has been impressive. me being me, ill take the 3.5 pts

i believe one of these teams will have a hard time to scoring.. very defensive.. maybe a few big shots down field.. ive seen both of these teams in a 6-9 scoring type of game.. very possible for them to do numbers as such. or 1 team could catch fire and make it a game like 24-10 or 30-10

of course everyone is gonna ride the seahawks.. doesn't impress me that the seahawks beat up on the cardinals that didn't care if they lost or not. (with the back up in).. this season i faded seahawks majority of the season.. and have been quite successful.. .. my opinion, the Vikings had a better season.. overall, the seahawks had a shaky season.. injury prone.. they made it to the playoffs, gotta give it to'em.. but their schedule easily favored that.. but i honestly think this is a spot they could possibly lose outright.. i wish i would've been on the Vikings more this season lke when they went on that 8-1 ATS streak but they were one of those teams i had to watch and see how they perform before i just started backin them week in and week out.. they made it this far.. terry performed well in back to back primetime games.. i think hes ready. adrian Peterson is running well.. Vikings are clicking on all cylinders.. seahawks may still win, but I'm bankin on the Vikings will atleast fight back and keep it close.. maybe somethin like 14-17 or 20-17 seahawks

was just explaining this way of thinking to a fellow on SBR the other day.. this goes for a lot of sports especially NFL and NBA.. when a star or you could say "very significant factor" to the game is sitting on the bench due to suspension/injury (laveon bell, Deangelo Williams) ... that traditionally lifts the teams spirit & value vs bringing them down in spirit & value.. and the line always has to adjust to a missing key player. any and every team is taught to play through adversity. some teams do it better than others but that's another conversation.. any teams mentality is always looking to step up through adversity.. especially if its a position where the next man up can come in and show what hes made of. I keep a tab on teams that take a significant injury to a key player for this specific reason. when bell went down, Deangelo exploded on the scene and played well these remaining weeks.. this will be the same scenario.. fitzgerald Toussaint hasn't seen a lot of playing time.. but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if explodes in this game. not necessarily have a 200yd game but do enough to secure a comfy win. there's no way In hell I can back a backup QB vs a HOF in a playoff game.. There's just no way.

I do like that, I will say. but I just cant do it here.. I was on the redskins in some great spots during the regular season. kirk did his homework and finished the season with a bang. & kirk was initially a back up if some of yall remember but he was needed in a desperate situation and succeeded expectations tremoundously. gotta give it to him. but aaron Rodgers is on the fukkin field. big ben just straight up said he has torn ligaments in his shoulder.. I don't know effective he will be. no one knows how "dazed" Antonio brown is.. I'm also a little worried to see how peyton plays.. I could imagine he see's this being his last opportunity to make it this far and comes out to fukkin play some ball. hopefully they lean on playing landry jones, but I doubt big ben will wanna sit out in a playoff game.. I'm thinking the fact the Denver defense knows big bens injury, that they will try to take advantage of that, and get him to the ground.. Denver is generally good at flooding the pocket..
i wanna believe that big ben could be just be hyping up his injury so they think they hes worse than he really is.. or he could really be banged up as he quotes.. if he is really banged up and plays, I could see big ben throwing a lot of screens and bubble type plays thrown to get yardage.. if Denver can cover those check down plays, and flood the pocket, Denver should be in good shape.. their defense is fairly dominant over Pittsburghs//

Kansas city just rolled over Houston 30-0.. alex smith is prolly playing his best football. 11 straight wins, more than half of those ATS.. alex smith making plays on his feet with +460 yards on his feet.. Alex smith turned this boat around for this team like no other.. I get that this is a very contrarian pick and some may call it a bad pick.. I just don't have much faith in NE.. toward the end of the season was shaky for them, cmon.. Miami beat them crying out loud.. and Miami is completely shot.. if this game is close i wouldnt be surprise if brady pulls a win out of his ass but I expect alex smith to give this game his all.. 24-20 Pats

I like the denver pick. Im not so sold on the kc pick. I say that because of injuries. Maclin is a big deep threat, and him not being 100% matters. I think if he does play, he will just be a decoy. And ware got injured as well. New england is getting so many pieces back. Brady gets his LT back, his best reciever, and db back. I feel like NE didnt really try to get the wins towards the end of the season considering there players kept getting hurt. I feel like they looked at the bigger picture and just took it easy. very good point.. seemed like they did purposely slack off toward the end of season cause they know they were already in the playoffs with a bye week.. these teams don't meet often which i like cause itll be a little harder to get a read on Kansas city. KC's defense is right up there with the patriots if not a little better.. tom brady has NEVER been a mobile QB and the KC line (Justin Houston, josh Muaga) if they flood the pocket (what NE struggles to protect) KC should stay right in this.Comment -

LOL of course i have thoughts about Carolina/seattle..
* i haven't backed the seahawks all year.. and was quite successful.. but this is where seahawks thrive in my opinion.. you gotta think, a former superbowl winning team is getting points.. mmmh you gotta think something is wrong with that picture.. don't get me wrong, Carolina is a great fukkin team, they have had an outstanding regular season.. cam did a lot with very mediocre offensive core.. shows how great he is. but these type are games i think Russell gets a sick thrill from.. he loves makin the diffuclt play, the broken play is his specialty.. scrambling through hell and back to get +30 yard gain.. really frightening for a seattle backer but its what he does. hes that QB that you think is not gonna pull through then magically pulls a play out of his ass.. its incredible. Russell Wilson is a true magician.. if i were to lean anywhere its Seattle and the points.. Its the only side that makes sense to me. The last meeting between the 2 teams Carolina got lucky on a blown coverage call.. seattle was missing one of their defensive captains so everything was all wrong that game.. i believe pete carroll is a fantastic coach, knows what to do in crunch time and has been here before.. im all about experience.. and its also a plus that beast mode is back, don't know effective he will be but atleast he will be in the game and open up a few other optionsComment -
