#74All day I have been trying to find reasons why it would not make sense to take Atlanta tonight. I know all about their defensive woes and a questionable Roddy White.
At -6.5 I'll take ATL at home on Thursday night to show up big and cruise to an easy win. I expect ATL to have figured a way to get pressure on the QB. I am sure they are aware of their struggles here and will have made adjustments for tonight and maybe finally record their first sack of the season. Hopefully two.

#77NYC not sure where you are looking for your information. It's not just favorites vs dogs. It's where the money was at and which dogs won.
Look at last weeks most heavily betted by the public and how those games went? Go read one of the many articles talking about how bad the public lost the last 2 weeks.

#78obviously at some point they bound to get a sack (or 2) but not sure you can "figure out" a lack of talent,, i mean they can bring more ppl but that gonna get them lit up deep against these wrs.. think atl the right side cause it looks like a track meet to me and gotta like their chances of outscoring tampa in a gm like that.. i have atl teased down with indy and bet the over 45.. gl tonight..
Some think ATL is going to all of a sudden play defense.
One side is wrong. LOL.
Good luck to you as well.Comment -

#79my stance on why i think tampa can muster a respectable offense tonight is mostly based off the fact we talking bout a team with a lot of moving parts coming into the season, so they change qbs, the coach, the offense and then they have to face one of the best defenses in the league to start the season then lose their rb and face a decnt lambs d, all the while with the new oc not around calling the plays as he had some kind of illness. now they face a much worse d, they have had some time together, and the oc is back.. im not asking for them to be the saints all a sudden, all i think i need from them is 17-20 points and atl should do the rest, think there potential for bucs to get more but 20 all i really want!Comment -

I like your Colts play. Seems like free money in that one. I probably will be on that one as well. It looks like I am on all favorites this week..Comment -

#93So obviously this week Public made some money back. I was a bit hesitant taking so many favorites this week, but no matter what angles I took on this games I was solid on those leans. Glad I stuck with it. The only one I regretted was letting the -7 scare me away from playing the CIN game. It was at -6.5 but I could not get the bet down in time and made a last minute decision not to play it.
Below % reflects numbers from Weds. Lot of these balanced out and did not end up being very heavy on either side.
TB@ATL - 75% on ATL - Public WIN
DAL@STL - 88% on DAL - Public WIN
HOU@NYG - 75% on HOU - Public LOSE
MIN@NO - 73% on NO - Public WIN
TEN@CIN - 78% on CIN - Public WIN
BAL@CLE - 74% on BAL - Public WIN
IND@JAX - 84% on IND - Public WIN
Week 1-3:
Public WINS = 12
Public LOSSES = 14
Big come back for Public this week.

#100In all seriousness... I know I mentioned the Titans as a play last week, but I ended up not betting it. I'm not backpedaling, I'm just saying that the further I delved into that game, the less I liked it. My straight plays went 4-0... those being the Lions, Giants, Cards, and Chargers/Bills under.
This week I really do like the Titans +7 and I'm about 90% sure I'll bet it. I'll wait for confirmation on the QB situation, but even if Whitehurst gets the nod, I'm likely to play it.
Colts ands Bengals are light years apart defensively and I think the Titans have the offensive talent to put some points up this week and keep the game within a touchdown. Locker's accuracy has been an issue (what else is new?) and seeing a backup quarterback in there may actually provide a short term boost for guys like Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter, who haven't really been able to get going yet this year.Comment -

#101Good luck Eddy.
I just think Luck is going to go an a tear now. TEN has scored 7 and 10 points the last 2 games, but suddenly they are going to keep up with Luck at home? The Colts have scored 27 or more points in each of their games this season. I just don't see it.Comment -

#102Yes, but the Colts have played some inferior defenses the last couple games... Not that the Titans are a great defensive team, but they are better than the Eagles or the Jags. And Tenn doesn't have to shut Luck down altogether, just keep him in check to a degree.
I still see Indy as a team that's talented but soft. They can't dominate in the trenches at will like elite teams can and I believe the Titans have the skill talent to give Indy fits. Kendall Wright on turf will be hard to corral. Hunter can hit the home run and then there's the always reliable Delanie Walker working the middle. The quarterback just needs to find the mark more consistently, and if that happens, you're looking at a live dog this week.Comment -
