Biggest Loser Story

Can someone explain to me what happened in Jacksonville today? I didn't see the game unfortunately as I only got to switch between 4 games today for the early games.

How does it happen that you go up 17-0 as a 10.5 point underdog, and you lose with the spread by having 34 unanswered points against you ?

And to think I have tickets for Houston @ Jacksonville later this year. At this rate the Jags will be 0-12 and I will be able to see my tickets for a hot dog (maybe if I am lucky).

Let's get this TK. I feel confident in both plays. I ended up taking Broncos for -7.5 earlier today and added 2u to it @ -8.5 just now.

Also managed to get UNDER 54.5 about 10 seconds before the last book I have access to lowered it to 53.5. Took it for 3u.

No clue. Definitely a bad break for Jags backers. Just from watching highlights, most of Eagles scores in the 2nd half were big plays (srpoles had a 50 yard td run, maclin caught a td-bomb on what looked like blown coverage, and the they had a defensive td). Not sure what happened to the Jags offense in that time though.

Thanks KRIT. Looks like a fumble return for a TD with 1:33 left in the game did me in. If it were not for that, at least I would have been within the spread. Sigh. Pointless TD at that point.

I nearly took Indy at +24.5 saying this is not sustainable. Screw me. Next time I can middle a play by 2 TDs or more I am doing it - no questions asked.

i dont even know what to say right now....24 points in the 1st qtr of SF, and i cant get over on a 5u play.
and now this game looking perfect for 3 qtrs on den and under, and i wind up losing both and another 5u.

a sickening way to start the season...

if this were college, i would suspect point shaving.....

won 1 whole unit today and i feel like i couldve been up 10, worse feeling ever when you should have some easy wins and the team completely craps the bed 2nd half, thats why i dont go large first week of NFL usually....

looking at some of the spreads for next week, i see some stuff so far, what you guys thinking ?

Lions have zero secondary and a nack for blowing fourth quarter leads. Do you really feel comfortable giving any Lions team +7 at least in the last what 20 years? I dont care what the Lions have on their roster as far as I am concerned they have to win before i can believe they are capable of winning.

The Giants can score I believe Eli isnt done yet, especially with a terrible, terrible Lion secondary. Plus, we all know the Lions can score. Is it just me or is Stafford-Johnson the new Culpepper-Moss connection. You know where take away the WR and the QB is terrible. Oh I know the Lions got a good front four, but that is all they have, how did that work out for the Rams yesterday? and the Rams have a better front 4. Points, points, and more points

lions opened 4 and went up to 6.5 but then right back down....so i dont make much of that since it never crossed a key #...
cards game has dropped to 2.5, so thats telling to me on chargers money....but they are getting a lot of the bets in the game

I got killed on the late games too. On both home teams with you TK. A little worried about the line drop in the Arizona game, but like you said, I think it's just a ton of Chargers money moving it.

im not a diehard fan of any team except the mets...

cruz, randle and beckham are nice weapons....they dont have a star back or TE, and obviously need help on the line...
they'll get hot 2nd half of the season...

unless you have D. Bryant, Julio, Marshall, Megatron, Graham, Gronk...this is a horrible/low % play...
