Well I'm sorry to spoil your Sunday morning. Teasers in general are sucker bets, but teasing across "zero" minimizes your advantage by taking a 3 point game and manipulating the line in your favor, albeit still a 3 point game (+3 instead of -3). So you're not really making the most of the 6 points you have at your disposal. It can payoff obviously, but the books will take that crap any day of the week.

Yes. The reason is because the numbers 2, 1 and 0 are some of the worst numbers. So, say you tease -3 to +3, you just bought all of the worst numbers. The best teasers tease THROUGH 3, 4, 5, 6 AND 7. These are the absolute best number in NFL spreads and the data backs it up. You can find the data in Sharp Sports Betting by Standford Wong, as well as many other places. In fact Wong did such a thorough analysis of teasers, that 6 point -110 teasers that tease through both 3 & 7 are now called "Wong Teasers".
