Yes it is. That is why I haven't touched it yet. I am waiting to see if the public starts pounding KC so that we can get a better line.
I took the Saints because they suck on the road and the spread is only 2.5? Just looks real fishy to me.

AH college ball thread....I dont really follow college too much A. This strategy seems more fun when I actually know the teams and figure out who should be favored by how much. All I know is that Alabama and Oregon is pretty much the top tier teams in ncaaf
you know A....with the line being +2.5 to the saints... I feel like vegas is saying this is pretty much a standard line for teams that are evenly matched. Eagles are only favorites here because of the home field advantage and I think that +2.5 really makes no difference to either team. I feel like even the linesmakers do not know how to set this line as of right now.Comment -
I do not use this method in college. I use a computer program that predicts my lines and I just go off that. I actually make more off of college because every weekend I play at least 25 games or more. That gives you a better chance to go up and/or bounce back.
Actually they are not really evenly matched. I think the Saints defense is ranked #5 and the Eagles are ranked #28? That may not be quite accurate but that is not evenly matched to me. If they let Kyle Orton throw for over 300 yards what do you think Brees is going to do? I am going to take an experienced playoff, future HOF over Nick Foles. Nick Foles and Chip Kelly are going to have to prove me wrong. Chip Kelly teams always folded in the big games, i.e. Oregon. Also, with that line they are saying even with a suck ass road team like the Saints the Eagles only have a slight advantage at home. Hmmmmm! Eagles are hot. Joe Public knows that. Saints did what they do at home right? So what does Joe think? Eagles because the Saints are going to lay a dud on the road. Too easy. Glad my name is not Joe. This is the playoffs and defense still wins Championships!
Kansas City's defense was overrated because they played the bottom of the barrel for 85% of the season. When they played the best offenses and the best quarterbacks they sucked. Joe does not recognize this. He just sees Kansas City and the record. I am rolling with Indy!
And by the way Alabama was favored by 15.5 and I politely took those +15.5 to the cashier last night.Comment -

I really do not do over and unders because I can't see the public percentage on those. If you think that it is that easy to pick an under then go the other way. Line watching here as well. The Colts started out as 3 point favorites then ended up being 1.5 underdogs to the Chiefs. After needing that miraculous comeback and a poor coaching job again by Andy Reid, the Colts are in Foxboro again. Do I think this will be any different than the last beat down? No I do not. Now I see why they ended up needing those 1.5 to cover the spread. I know. I waited and took the points. For me, the Legend of Luck continued. Well, the Legend will not be enough in this game. I lean on Brady, Bellichek, and Foxboro when all else fails. Joe Public sleeps on Mr. Ugggs and believes too much into the hype of the Legend of Luck. The Hall of Famer Brady continues his march into Canton! New England ambushes the Legend of Luck with the Living Legend of Brady.Comment -
Leaning Seattle.
Basically I am line watching, trying to get the best line. I just do not see the Saints being able to do anything different to stay in this game. They are not a balanced team at all. They try to be when they play mediocre defenses, i.e. Da Eggles. They are playing the #2 defense in all of football. They will not be able to run the ball. They will have to rely on the shoulders of one Drew Brees. He is capable but this is asking too much of him. Seattle will apply pressure, stuff the run, and limit any and all big plays. Throw in a few Saints' turnovers and they cover. Joe Public forgets about these Hawks because they are enamored with the Saints finally winning on the road against a mediocre defense and rookie coach. That defense, the perfect game manager, the 12th man, and a two week period to prepare for a team that they pounded the last time the Saints visited. Oh, and no dome and Seattle weather? Seattle covers this.Comment -
