    Some question to start
    Hi everyone, very nice forum

I checked some topic of the Newbie forum but I still have some doubt, can you help me?

    1) To become pro i have to open an account in one of your recomended books and deposit at least 200$?
    2) Can i start betting in this book or you have to check if I have 200$ (I mean I could lose some stake and get down of that 200)?
And if I lose all the money that book?

    3) I especially bet on Tennis and on soccer, what is the best book with more market for Tennis between your recommended? I saw Ladbrokes gives a lot of markets but it is not valid for you to become pro.

    4) How contests works? I mean I just sign up and then send picks, but where do i send it? To the contest "manager"?

    5) Everyone can open a contest?

    6) And last, I'm italian and I use decimal quotes, I saw you use lines? How can I convert it in decimal?

    Thank you very much!

    Hi Niki -

All of the information about the Pro program can be found here. Yes you can start betting after you send in your Pro application. The money is yours.

Pinnacle, Bet365 and 5Dimes are great books for tennis. bet365 has many options and offers odds on every tennis and soccer match but you'll usually get better prices at Pinnacle although they have few options available.

For contests, you follow the contest instructions, click the link and submit your picks. Your plays will be saved in the contest software. And yes, anyone can open a contest.

If you'd like to know the decimal odds, you can use the Odds Converter

Best of luck and welcome to SBR

Unfortunately no, as they're not a part of the Pro program. To use that method to become a Pro, you need to create a brand new sportsbook account created through the SBR link at one of the Pro sponsors and deposit of $200. You can also become a Pro via one of the other methods listed on the application form.
