In my opinion the scenario of saving your weapons for when it really matters outweighs the preference of facing either Butler or Cleveland St. Either way they will be playing both the semi and the final game at home and as of right now they are undefeated against both teams so I don't see a difference here.

They handled Cleveland St. easier, teams do like playing teams they find it easier to matchup against, in all sports, just think they will come to play, time will tell.

I too think Butler plays at their best and sneaks out with a victory. A game that might ultimately setup a rubber matchup for the Horizon championship (but that one will go to Valpo).

The theory is great but its far fetched to think valpo will lie down because they locked up their seed.. they are still playing a rival (last time some of these seniors will be on the court), and their motivation will also be to keep butler out of the tournament, not as much motivation as butler but i wouldn't unload the wallet on butler thinking its a lock

Valpo will be up for this game. Linesmakers aren't dumb. All these players and fans heard past few years are butler this butler that. The fans will show up and so will the players. Valpo will be playing loose and energetically. Butler will be playing not to lose. Should be a tight one. Valpo or nothing imo.
