WOW! What a day yesterday. But I got to tell you. I just can't believe some of the people on this site. John has been on a damn good run for a while. I see some guys telling John to hurry up and post his picks! Seriously!!! Are these guys to lazy to actually do their own capping??? Does appear as so. And when John has a tough day, people start killing him!! It just amazes me. It happens every time someone gets hot. He is everyone's best friend....UNTIL he/she loses or has a bad day! THen people start bashing.
Guy's relax!!! John is giving everyone "advice" on what he believes are winners. Asa I have said many times before...YOU do have the optin to NOT TAKE THE PICK!! But that means you would have to do some work! Seems like it is easier to just take his picks and then bitch when he has a bad day!
I took several of his picks as well. I did not like the Texas pick, bit since he was on a good run, I just backed my bet down. Kind of a compromise! He liked it and I did not. But took it anyway, KNOWING it might lose! It did. But I did not lose 20* money! I lost less because I made the decision to make a smaller bet!
John, tough day yesterday for a lot of people. Lost two of my own picks. But I fully expect you to get back on the horse and throw out some winners today. It gets tougher now!

Do your own research. If that involves seeing what other people are picking, thats fine... But blind fading/following will bankrupt you sooner than later.
I've been following John's picks for a while, his system seems to be better than most, and I think his record shows it... There was a little confusion yesterday, which is what started this frenzy...

To confirm, the play was California, which lost ATS. I am not sure where the discrepancies are coming from. But rest assured if there were any it was a one time thing. If there anymore, simply ask me here in the thread. That solves everything. Thanks

Thanks to both of you and all of you, who have been following and tailing my work and suggestions. Fore those new to the thread, since being with SBR I have posted significant winning records in ALL SPORTS that I have covered. so, you are right, marathon is what this is, and we just hit mile post 22.5, which is known as the Wall. It does get a bit more difficult with the Tournaments, but the Big Dance is one of my better times of the year. Let's hope that I have another solid Tournament and remaining part of the NCAAB season.Comment -
No offense, but it doesn't do any of us any good to confirm that it was Cal the day after the play went off. If you look above at your own post, you stated that it was Colorado not California. Also, you did not address anything regarding your 20* Texas play that you had 2 days ago. I referenced the Texas vs Iowa St. play you were talking about and it did not mention anything about a 20*, it did however state that it was a 5* play. I'm not trying to complain, just stating facts. I think I speak for most that we all appreciate your work here, but we would all like to eliminate the confusion that can happen when you post contradicting statements between this thread and the website. If you're like me and don't know the ins and outs of capping, you have to seek out the advice of others who do. It seems that choosing who to tail is very similar to implementing a specific capping system. You have to choose the system based on your perception of its effectiveness and stick with it to realize long term gains. If you only take a sampling on a bad day it can be misleading, whereas a larger sampling may reveal overall success. With JR's plays broken down into 5, 10, and 20, and with them being tracked in those categories so comprehensively, you can actually "analyze his analysis" and make your own decisions as to playing everything, a single strength category, or a combination of categories. Overall, I have been pleased with the results tailing JR. There are good days and bad days, painful streaks and heaters. But you have to be strategic rather than tactical when measuring the metrics and determining success or failure.
On the flip side, however, I think the majority of the complaints are not about the accuracy of the picks; rather they are about the accuracy and consistency of reporting those picks across multiple outlets. It's perfectly legitimate to call that out as a concern, but as in life sometimes it isn't what you say but how you say it. As for me, I'm pleased with JR's picks in the long term and I will keep consulting this thread for what I consider to be valuable analysis and recommendations.
