Filmoz's NCAA BB 2011-2012

I have seen alot of people represent records. One key component that is oftentimes left out, not for nefarious reasons, is the average unit wagered. That metrix is a very revealing number. For example, you get some hack states he is +200 units, with anaverage unit/play of 10.

Take the same scenario with average unit/play of 5. No you know what I am trying to illustrate. Then people can get the entire picture.

This post is not intended to question or suggest anything nefarious on your part.

Agree 100%........This is why I like the way LTA rates his plays. He's the standard IMO on how plays should be rated. A 1u play is standard. His multiple unit plays come less often but when they do you can easily relate to their value. A 2u play is just that.....twice as strong. And 3u & above plays are rare but easy to calculate their strength. In the end he may "only" be ahead what appears to be an "unimpressive" 20 or so units but that's the same as the guy tossing around 20u plays & selling you on the fact that he's UP 400u

There's another daily thread in this section that rates plays from 1x - 30x & has approx. a 55% win rate but comes off as if he is God because he's UP 160x which is laughable.

BTW......I'm not knocking you @ all Moz because I have easily been able to correlate your rating system into my own. Your rating system is similar to Buck's & it's easy to translate your 3x-5x plays into 1u for me & your 6x-10x into 2u & your 11x & above into 3 or more units.
However cappers choose to rate their plays unit wise is fine as it's obviously the tailers responsibility to translate & calculate into their own units.

I'm torn on the issue of whether Mozer should accommodate this agitator with replies. You guys are right that he just wants attention and "wins" when he get it, but on the other hand, Filmoz has every right to, and clearly WANTS to, defend himself articulately, which he does.

Tough call.

4 years of undergrad straight into 3 years of law school without any breaks had me done with school when I was 24. I graduated this past May, took the bar exam in July, found out I passed in October.

I don't mean to talk myself up and make it sound like I have "practiced" all these types of law. My situation is actually rather typical, as most law students get substantial experience during law school via internships and part time work. I interned at different places both summers during law school, and I worked during the school year all of my final year. So I am still pretty green, but I have gotten to do a lot, such as drafting pleadings and motions, doing investigation and coming up with strategy. Basically everything short of making appearances on the record in court, which takes a licensed attorney. But now that I passed the bar, that will be me too pretty soon!

Part of the reason that I am able to check in and post so much is that my work is very research-and-writing based right now and I am at my desk a lot. As I transition into my role as full-blown attorney, I will likely be out and about much more.

In-house sounds like a sweet gig. Nice work on the NY bar too, was it as difficult as it is said to be?

I am pretty happy with where I landed career-wise. Cases are interesting and the money is good. Definitely do not wanna be a lawyer forever though, hoping to be frugal for a while and hopefully be able to put some savings into real estate or something.
